  • Video ni akan jadi sejarah lepas bulan March.. Poor planning and decision by AA.

  • there is no flight to europe anymore

  • @rizkizaman I think they are continuing to operate to Europe until the end of March and then they stop. Thanks for watching and commenting #AirasiaX

  • And now you won't be seeing AirAsia X at Gatwick at all, let alone Stansted. They are quitting Europe

  • @tiadaid Thank you for watching my #AirAsia X Video at London Stansted. I too had read that they will be leaving Europe. They lasted a good while at Stansted before their move to Gatwick. By a number of accounts it was quite a coup for Gatwick to get Air Asia X, but clearly the economics were little improved to sustain operations.

  • they have moved to Gatwick now..

  • @EmiratesEK425 yes they moved at the end of October 2011, it is a shame that they chose to move.thanks for watching.

  • Nice overall. Next time do it in video version

  • @algval061 AirAsia Launch - Thanks for watching my video.

  • I think Lao airline is the best and safest airline in the world. We don't need to do any maintenance check at all. Any time before we fly we just have a buddha or a monk to do a ceremony or pray. Since Lao airline begun to operate 1990 we never have any accident or crashed.

  • @nyobnrogkevlwjsiab hello I think the aviation authorities and regulators would require more than a buddha or a monks ceremony before allowing an airline to fly whatever their religious beliefs. Thanks for watching!

  • @bananamanuk he was being sarcastic.

  • @Desmonddd2002 indeed I was ;-)

  • @nyobnrogkevlwjsiab - Baby all the people already know Lao airlines Is the winner of the Skytraxx , World Travel Award, capa oh is really great....i little bit Curious but until now i already check in the skytraxx i never found lao airlines the best and safest airlines in the world...but why : (

  • From October 2011, Air Asia X will move to Gatwick Airport instead after the airline stated a 10% loss of passengers due to lack of connections at Stansted. plus the airline say that Gatwick is closer to London.

  • @JoeRoss1993 Sad to see #airasiax leaving stansted. I wonder if the deal at LGW is more attractive, I suspect it is. I'm not sure how there is a lack of connections at Stansted with the shear volume of Ryanair and EasyJet flights, let alone the handful of other carriers. I would guess that there was a good incentive package offered to them to move to LGW. #aviationvideos

  • this thing is huge

  • @BikerMama123 #airasia X A340 is the biggest passenger plane at Stansted at the moment. Thanks for watching my #aviationvideo.

  • @BikerMama123 747 is huger...

  • @AimanLolzz93 hello AimanLolzz93, thanks for your comment. We don't have 747 passenger services at STN at the moment., only cargo. Thank you for watching.

  • @bananamanuk ok.....are you malaysian???

  • @AimanLolzz93 No I'm not Malaysian.

  • @bananamanuk well....air asia x is my country's airlines... :D

  • determine the flight tickets and many tips to be found

  • i hate when they put a soundtrack on these videos, i actually want to listent to airplane's engine

  • @caballoalizeero I'm the one that put the soundtrack on my video. Many people like the title sequences. Most watch to the end and will also hear very rich engine sounds on my work. At least you have a good choice of videos on youtube, I'm sure you're never far from hearing another engine.

  • I rather land here Heatrow damm crowded

  • @heywatchme101 thanls for commenting on my @airasia x video. stansted is certainly nicer than heathrow because its smaller and less crowded especially nice after a long flight. pity arent more long haul routes from there. thanks again

  • Just look at how that bird is flying despite the cross wind! So smooth and its a kiss touch down! Whoo!

  • @jewelshare Hi jewelshare, the A340 is a very graceful looking aircraft on approach. Thanks for watching and commenting.

  • Chinese Ailines have failed before as much as anything else but this looks good

  • more chinese come in lol

  • @dionsanchez24 Air Asia is from Malaysia not China lol

  • @heywatchme101 What dionsanchez means more foreign tourist to visit Malaysia as they are attracted by low-cost travel.

  • Really nice

  • My friend i really love your wonderful video...............

  • @begamorta69 thank you I am pleased you like the #airasia video.

  • Wow... thats one smooth landing.. GREAT video :D

  • @ollo1982 Hi ollo1982 I'm glad you liked the #airasiax video thanks a lot for your comment.

  • @Capiel89 Thanks very much and thank you for subscribing I hope you'll enjoy my videos.

  • beautiful video!

  • @euro1776 Thanks very much euro1776, I appreciate your comment.

  • can you recommend a good video camera with HD i use my camera its good for photos but only ok for videos (there on my channel) thanks

  • @Aviationnation10 You'll need a few hundred to spend at least - like everything the more money you can spend the better the technology. Take a look in one of the high street stores, get a well known brand, one with as many CCD chips as possible, 3 CCD is best as one chip per red, green, blue colour. The chip size has affect too.. I'd probably stick to Sony or Panasonic HD Handycams for first time.

  • I like your video effects... beautifully done

  • @FSJZ97 Hello FSJZ97, thank you very much for your kind comment. I apreciate it.

  • They always fly over my house :D

But only A320 or 19! The A320 -319...321.. were build here in Hamburg !

  • @HamburgAirport Thanks for your comment HamburgAirport - it sounds as though you get to see all the brand new aircraft there, very good.

  • Has any one ever thought of WHY Air ASIA and other low cost airlines ARE low cost airlines. Im only 23 n it doesnt take a genius to know. 1st-They entered the game late n r not as established as the likes of ur BAW/AAL/CPA and JAL. 2nd-Low cost Airlines always need to look for any little nooks n cranies to be able to survive, let alone compete. There is no competition at Stansted. If Luton was bigger, it wouldav gone dere 2!If dere profits increase, in 20 years u jst mite see dem in LHR.

  • @dougiecoolietrini Hi dougiecoolietrini thanks a lot for your comment, you make the case for why LCC's exist very well, thanks for watching and commenting.

  • @dougiecoolietrini good insight. But consider this; Entering late does not make you a medium sized airline like Air Asia if you do not have any market power or innovations. Air Asia is the first to include modern fashion such as jeans in their uniforms. They create a branding not just as a carrier. Second, there may still be competition. Developed airlines such as SIA are cutting costs to compete with them on pricing. Entry of Tiger, Jetstar, Valuair e.t.c are taking away their market shares

  • The difference between a low coast airline in europe to an airline in asia is that you still on an asian carrier are treated with superb service and respect ahiel on a european airline they treat you like dirt from start to finish. Air Asia, Bangkok Airways, Nok Air has better service and safety than many non low coast airlines in europe. I fly with Bangkok Airways two times a week and get something to eat and drink for free no matter how short the flight is.

  • @Sooksawaspakdee961 thank you for your thoughts sooksawaspakdee961 you make some interesting points.

  • air asia BEST LOW COST AIRLINES IN THE WORLD

    check out from SKY TRAX

  • Decision of landing at which airport in some cases are not the airliner's call, it has to be made by the airport authority of both original departure airport (KUL) and landing airport (LDN), also for those who know little about air transport safety, it is a standard procedure to follow strictly before the EU country ministry of transport would grant the landing permission to Air Asia, for instance Indonesia Adam Air was 1 of it been banned to enter EU open sky due to its poor safety record.

  • JUST SAY IT, AIRASIA CAN'T AFFORD TO LAnd in heathrow aND ENDANGER OTHER INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES ' PASSENGERS LIVES.

HOW MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE CAN HEATHROW LANDING COST?

IT IS ALL ABOUT MAXIMISING PROFITS AT THE EXPENSE OF PASSENGERS SAFETY ON AIRASIA.

  • @khm8191 I really don't know what you mean about endangering people's lives. Air Asia and Air Asia X are safe airlines and like all airlines, they operate to strict safety standards which are monitored by all territories that they fly into. If they were unsafe would they be allowed in Europe? No, therefore are they perfectly safe? - yes. LHR is much more costly than STN, additionally STN offers other deals for new long haul and better slots. All airlines maximise profit - the yield nothing new

  • @bananamanuk not to mention there is already a huge low cost presence at STN that they can use to promote onward connections

  • @bananamanuk WELL SAID MY MAN, Well said.

  • @khm8191 what do you mean cant afford there a muli billion bussiness they dont want to fly from there neither do there passengers and heathrow costs a substantial more than stn

  • stanstaed because airasia haS NO BIGGER PLANES.

    FOOD ON AIRASIA?

    FORGET IT!

    BRING YOUR OWN HOME-MADE SANDWICHES.

  • @thai9001 have you flown with them thai9001?

  • ive board this plane before and i was going to indonesia for a holiday and they had this food with chicken and some rice or something

  • nice is there any food onboard??

  • @cst1908 I don't know what the onboard product is like, but I am sure it will be on their website. I hope that helps.

  • why stansted i mean wtf it would be better if it was heathrow

  • @StarBurst786 Bit more competition at LHR though StarBurst786

  • @StarBurst786 and Heathrow would have been a lot more expensive

  • @S7r0ng3r good point there S7r0ng3r thanks.

  • It has no wheels

  • @pacman6811 Now that would be worringing!

  • smooth

  • good air asia

  • Im against low cost airlines because its environmentally bad!

  • @averredude101 Hi averredude everyone is entitled to their view, however as a counter point, arguably low cost airlines are environmentally better - often they use newer aircraft and have a higher load factor. It's a bit like with buses - a bus is only environmentally sound if people use it, otherwise the larger engine and diesel burn is more poluting than a number of small cars...

  • Oasis flew into Vancouver, but I would like to more and hope fully see one in Vancouver in the future.

  • @flyinghighoverthesky thanks for your comment flyinghighoverthesky

  • Can LCCs do well on long hauls? The long hual market is littered with corpses of previous failures : Laker, Oasis, People Express..........

  • @trent8002003 Air Asia X seems to buck the trend because it's not a stand alone carrier it has the vast Air Asia domestic network which much help feed traffic. From recent reports they seem to be doing well.

  • @bananamanuk Yah, may be that's the key of demolishing the curse on long haul LCCs. Thanks.

  • @trent8002003 Actually long haul flights are much more profitable than short haul flights. Even Southwest Airline and Ryanair agree with this statement.

  • excelent movie mate , love the background music , who is playing this music , gr paul

  • @pisstank07 Hi thanks for your comment. The music is something I created using samples.

  • wat is the background music , i like it ,gr paul

  • @pisstank07 hi pisstank07 thanks, glad u like the music, something i made up. btw your name made me lol

  • its no longer air asia its air world!

  • I enjoy South East Asia and when I found I could get there this year for £290 incl everything I was knocked out!

Me and all my family can enjoy white sand and palm trees in a great part of the world. All for the same price as flying to Egypt's Red Sea.

    Well done Air Asia!

  • Perfect Landing!

  • Hey bananamanuk,

I would like to say my gratitude for your HD quality videos for this AirAsia A340's. We Malaysians are proud with the achievement by AirAsia. Therefore, would like to request your for most favour to upload this types of videos more.Thank yo so much!!

  • I sit AirAsia X D7 2008 from LCCT to London Stansted as I migrated to UK starting of this month. good take off and landing. enjoyed.

    Keep flying high AirAsia! :)

  • Thanks for commenting qirenn11.

  • You are welcome bananamanuk :)

hope you can share more airplanes video here.

  • hello qirenn11 please check out my channel, i've got lots of videos online

  • Will Be pushing back this a/c @ stn as off January !!! cant wait!

  • Hi reemjay thanks for the comment, you are one lucky person!

  • I live in Colchester so Stansted is a lot nearer than Heathrow. Wish they had more Asian flights.

  • Look like cross wind landing.Thats Scary.

  • Great video.

Even though I am a Malaysian and not an European, but would like to say something.

If AirAsia plan to have stopover point for flight to America, I hope that the stopover point will be somewhere in Europe, to bring those European to U.S., and COMPETE with Ryanair.

AirAsia's baggage charges is 5 GBP for 15 kg and 11 GBP for 20kg, compare to Ryanair's 15 GBP charges for ONLY 15kg baggage allowance, I am sure those European know which to choose.

  • does ryan air fly trans-atlantic?

  • Hi seaboo143, no Ryanair does not fly transatlantic

  • well at least not yet, there trying too

  • hey have you flown with this company before if so what are they like ?

  • Hi there cardiffguy85. No I've not flown with Air Asia X, but from another website I read that they'd had something like 75,000 people book with them. I do know someone that is going to be flying with them later this year. Remember VIrgin have an interest in Air Asia X and they have a huge network in Asia itself so I think they are probably pretty good. Try Trip Advisor or "Air Asia X Reviews" on a search engine to get actual flyer views.

  • ok will do thanks for the info its just i want to fly from london to perth australia coz thats where i live and with some 1 like malaysia airlines it cost 500 british pounds but with air asia it costs from about 250 to 300

  • HI no problem. I'm not sure how the Air Asia X website works, like if it's possible to book str8 thru to Perth or if u book STN- Kuala Lumpar and then book the second leg yourself, but certainly looks like u could save a load of cash - hope it works out.

  • good value for money no doubt. flight was ok and seat is comfy. Apparently the KL - London route use an ex-Air Canada plane so pretty spacious; other routes use new Airbus A330 that offers has less room from what I heard. You have to book 2 separate flights and make sure enough time in between. Enjoy!

  • I flew with airasia yest!!! :) Wheee

  • they are good well sometimes give u a hard landing but most of the time good

  • If you book with AirAsia, You have to pass through immigration, collect your luggage and re-check in. So, I suggest you to have 1 night stay in Kuala Lumpur or at least more than 4 hours transit time. Because AirAsia is a point to point low-cost carrier which will not compensate you if you missed your flight to Perth because of the delay of flight from London.

But, don't worry so much. Their on time performance still acceptable.

  • hey man, awesome video, just some great shots, do you use sony vegs to edit? Thanks

  • hi frequentairbusflyer8, thanks for your message. I use something similar to Sony Vegas called Liquid Edition. There's a few semi-pro editors out there like Liquid, Vegas, Adobe Premiere, Ulead do one too.

  • P.s. What is the song called ?

  • Hi globespan767 thanks very much for your comments, I'm pleased you liked some of my videos. It's always nice to know it's worth it. I haven't been back to Glasgow this year, but hopefully will do again, if nothing more than to experience the fun and bumpy landings that we always have!!

The tune is my own composition I use it for a few of my "Flying Into" videos, bit of a theme tune that I remix each time.

  • It's stated at 2:09

  • Hi thanks techoairplaneman - you must be one of very few ppl to read the credits - thanks, I often get asked about the music.

  • Amazing Video!! Subscribing

I liked all your videos at my local airport Glasgow and also this one caught my eye

    Excellent Work

  • Im flyin with them at the end of september to perth via kuala lumpar! cant wait!!

  • Where does Air Asia depart from to London ?

  • hi, Air Asia flies out of London Stansted airport. It is London's third busiest and is closest to the east of London and the London Docklands area. Air Asia flies to Kuala Lumpar

  • Is this air asia the one that is from Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia ?

  • yes it is.

  • Awesome !!!

I didnt know they operate that far.

I guess its really cheap to fly with them !!

  • does anyone know how far stansted airport is from luton airport?

  • 55.8 miles by road. Motorway all the way M11 - M25 - M1

But 27 miles in a straight line and using smaller roads.

  • Air Asia X has a new Raiders livery which is pretty cool i saw the other day at stn

  • Hi thanks for your comment reemjay i've heard about that livery. I will have to try and get over there and film it sometime

    Cheers

  • i thing air asia x is the worlds most cheapest airline.. and having the best livery.. :))

  • Nice touchdown!.... flying AisAsia from Perth to Kuala Lumpur next Easter, looking forward to the flight on Airbus A330-300

  • hello robaveley thanks very much for your comment.

  • i love the pick a place yourself by airasia also the nice leather seats! gotta love it

  • The Kuala Lumpur route is now at the moment the only long haul route serving stansted, because PIA have just stopped their services to Islamabad and Lahore via Dubai after a month of service!

  • I'd think Air Asia X wouldn't have lasted for long if their london route landed at gatwick because of their high landing fees.

  • I think all airlines starting out have a very tough time getting recognition against established airlines. That's often even more difficult for airlines at STN I guess they must have a good deal on landing charges or something as an incentive to go to STN rather than elsewhere.

  • not even heathrow

  • no this is Stansted

  • airasiaX,malaysia airlines, qantas airlines and lufthansa airlines are best, very smooth landing thanks bananamanuk but ur web cant enter 1...

  • Cool there are little of cross wind ?

  • Hi ToCorrectYou thanks for your comment. I think there was a light cross wind, but that's probably not much different to any time a plane comes in to land. The winds on this day were nothing major, i've seen worse at STN. Thanks again

  • amazing

  • It's a nice looking plane isn't it ? Thanks for your comment ahhkainis

  • very smooth landing:) nice job A.A!

  • Thank you gillian1370.

  • i love air asia x london. hope u can do much better for us.

  • Very nice movie!!!!

  • thanks flippes3 glad you enjoyed it

  • thanks a lot ansettaddict123

  • nice prsentation:) and AMAZING reverser sounds at 1:39!!!!

  • Thanks for the update kidcaptian they are a rapidly expanding airline and I think they've just got their second A340

  • They have now, and its ment to have been painted in a differet style, its going to be ready for the daily STN-KUL flights from the 1st July.

  • Air Asia may be coming to the U.S. soon. From what i headr they willl use a340 from kl to la

  • Thats what i heard on wikipedia they'll also serve new york jfk, but I heard the flights to LAX and JFK will have to stop at Stansted, probably for refuelling and also including Stansted in the schedule for the routes as well.

  • Yaaaay!!!!!!! I want to be the first passenger fly to LAX or JFK!

  • NICE :X

  • congratulations and good luck

  • doing my coversion now from a320 to a340-319..cant wait to hit the cockpit man thiss aug!!

  • hi thanks for your support

  • Oh sweet! Nicely made video, bananamanuk :)

  • That is an exelent video, I hope I get to see it soon!

  • Great video 5 stars!!

  • No, thank you, thanks for your very kind comment, I am pleased you liked the video and it sounds like you've had good experiences with Air Asia. I saw Asia X coming in to land this morning, it looked nice against a bright blue sky.

  • fantastic video. thank you. im a regular customer of air asia ,top class low cost airline well managed ,good on time record. i will travel air asia x for sure if i get a cheap fare to KL.once again thanks

  • Great video 5/5!

Nice to see a major long-haul airline coming to Stansted.

  • Certainly is after the losses of Wizz, Eastern, American, MaxJet, EOS, SkyEurope, Air Malta, CSA, Centralwings, FlyGlobespan, Transavia, Blue1, Air Italy Iceland Express going, Norwegian going but for 1 flight. Will be interesting to see how well this venture does by comparison. Thanks for commenting.

  • Yes it seems like the only airlines to be successful at Stansted are Ryanair, easyJet, Air Berlin and maybe some cargo airlines like Fed Ex and UPS. No problem.

  • Apparentely, PIA have now re-intorduced twice weekly services from stansted to lahore (on wednesdays), Islamabad (on fridays) and Dubai (On Wednesdays and Fridays).
