What's with the little white dot (very dim) moving around in the clouds beginning at 0:14 seconds? It looks like a lens reflection from the street light but not sure.
My daughter and her boyfriend heard this also on January 12, 2012. It seems like there is a lot of this being posted all over the internet. According to some scientist it is because we are approaching a magnetic axis in the universe and it is vibrating off our planet. Several dolphins went ashore at the same time my kids heard this. Interesting times we live in.

Do you hear it still? Im in SC and i hear it at least twice a month. Also, when it stops momentarily, did you notice it sounds like a giant faucet being turned off...then back on? I'v been researching alot about these sounds... the only REASONABLE explanation is a space quake.... you can google it to learn more, but im not entirely sure that is what it is... thats all i could find about it...
Believe it or not but this noise is fairly common to me. I hear it between once and several times a day. I'm not sure what it is, but it is getting annoying. And the only airport I live near only lands small crop like planes.

Another vid from Fla recorded sounds which were very similar to yours. They were louder and the people thought it was a tornado coming, but it wasn't. Never found out what the sound was, but seems like there was a small EQ near there a week or so later.
@chondram that sound was different. It was louder and had more bass. In the vid she says her address, so someone googled it and shes right next to a regional airport. They called the airport and at the time of the vid a FedEx jet was getting an engine serviced and they were running it at full blast. This sound is the one we all hear in the SouthEastern US. Its like a static rumble that sometimes lasts for an hour or more.
@chondram No, no earthquakes at all ever. The sound doesnt have enough rumble to shake the ground or anything. It really sounds like a giant faucet in the sky is being left on, then truns off for 30-60 seconds. Then it turns back on. Its weird, we are all trying to figure out what it is, it's be a lot easier if people stopped posting all the fake vids.
@SyndicateOfDesign Actually, there was an earthquake in Denver on Aug. 21st or 22nd, and there was an earthquake in Virginia on Aug. 23rd. The first time the sound was heard here was on the 22nd( see video from Tropicana Field as in my description). We heard the sound on the 22nd,23rd,24th and 25th.

The noise you captured sounds like a plane dropping it's flaps while it is still at a fair speed it can make a combination of a whooshing whistling booming vibration. Jets do this when they need to slow down quickly.

I heard that same noise in Titusville Fl last year. It was louder than what you can hear on your video. I thought it was a missle launch at first, but it lasted way to long for that, plus there were no launches that day. I've never heard anything like it before. I even checked the news to see what was going on, but nothing was ever said about it. There's a video on that same noise from Flagler Fl. That one is very loud.

Just a thought re the "changing sky colour" - it seems to me like your vid camera might have an automatic white-balance adjust - the sky colour appears to change depending on when the orange streetlight is close to dead-centre (autofocus area) of the screen or not. This is cool for stills, but very foolish to have it set to auto for video, as the hue of your subject will change depending on the predominant colour temperature of the active area.

First of all, I knew nothing about any type of sounds being heard until AFTER we heard this,and only then did I search youtube and upload our vid.
Secondly, if I were going to make a "fake sound video" for whatever reason, I would have made it a hell of a lot louder than my video depicts.
As for the clouds, I don't know why they look wonky-this was recorded on an iphone-simply to capture the SOUND.

The noise you captured sounds like a plane dropping it's flaps while it is still at a fair speed it can make a combination of a whooshing whistling booming vibration. Jets do this when they need to slow down quickly.

I believe its all the 'fracking' they have been doing all over the place. The fracking could be breaking earth plates moving and disturbing the earth. It could be the noise from the moving earth plates moving real loud. Next thing will be the earth crumbling and imploding like the 911 imploding. I'm scared out of my wits! All I've heard so far is the wind with no windy feeling no movement of leaves or plants. It's spooky.

samething happend here in Oshawa ONTARIO CANADA JAN 23-2012 IT is not a jet,it is timed wind gusts with no moving of tree branches or leaves,it was so loud i could hear it through my new thermal windows,i went outside and it sounded like it was all around me,it's strange to hear the wind and not feel it blowing on you and no movement of trees and lasted over a hour that i know of,BIG WIND GUST SOUNDS WITH NO WIND,DEAD STILL......

@HeirOfEnoch very few people would be able to tell you in all honesty, but what he described is actually pretty apt. what is being used is high powered, focussed and modulated energy weapons (microwave) to induce movement in the upper atmosphere by blasting parts of it into a plasma, creating waves of plasma. this has all kinds of effects to the ends of controlling weather, currents, electrical conductivity of the atmo and of course SEISMIC activity

@rongladiator it's not wind per se, unless you consider waves of artificially created plasma in the atmosphere above you to be wind. What you're hearing is the atmosphere above you being microwaved into a plasma. this has been going on for over 20 years, generally to control the weather, but recently, the power levels used have been going up and up and up, and now we can actually HEAR it... also extreme weather gets worse and seismic activity is being induced. do the math

I heard that same noise in Titusville Fl last year. It was louder than what you can hear on your video. I thought it was a missle launch at first, but it lasted way to long for that, plus there were no launches that day. I've never heard anything like it before. I even checked the news to see what was going on, but nothing was ever said about it. There's a video on that same noise from Flagler Fl. That one is very loud.

Just a thought re the "changing sky colour" - it seems to me like your vid camera might have an automatic white-balance adjust - the sky colour appears to change depending on when the orange streetlight is close to dead-centre (autofocus area) of the screen or not. This is cool for stills, but very foolish to have it set to auto for video, as the hue of your subject will change depending on the predominant colour temperature of the active area.
