Yes it isn't as good as a ninja 250 but it is good and that's all there is to it!

@IcePickSnowmanzzzz i wouldn't bother they don't last long these bikes.. the back brake fall's apart within months.. the exhaust blown off when i was riding.. luckily there where no cars behind me at the time.. water gets in the speed and steams up.. the wiring is done by a 3 year old.. and iv also heard problems of frames cracking and snaping... there designed in Europe but build in china.... that's why they look good but there just badly made.... go for a yamaha :) best bike iv owned.

Yeah. That WAS a problem with the side stand, but they fixed that long ago. Same for the handle bars, Well at least I know my "2011 250s LC" has not got any problems with the handle bars. mine looks just like the one in the Youtube clip YIJBghAVWyM

A friend of mine bought this bike for $6000 under finance as his first bike and has had nothing but trouble with. It looks nice, sounds pretty good for a 250 (when it starts) but that's the problem when it starts and when it finally does, there's always another problem with it. Really don't buy it! Get a Kwaka or a Honda 250! You'll love it better!!

@latinfueg0 sounds like ure friend was a dick for paying 6k. to be honest, thats 2k too much. And. the 2010 model and early 2011 had issues with electrics. So IF what you are saying is correct. He would have been coverd under the manufactory warranty / defect listing that was advertised.

I'm also thinking of buying this bike because of design. Hyosung looks allright but i know for sure engine is better and got dual front disc. Kawasaki is best choise but expensive. Only going to keep it for 1year and upgrade after i get my full license. Please give me some opinions..

My friend just bought this bike about 2 weeks ago. i like it how ever i prefer my Hyosung GT250R.

The ninja 250 is a litter better quality built. Although the ninja 250 my friend bought brand new, needed - New Carbs, spark plugs, coils, and a throttle cable...

@christopherchu - I haven't heard mucha bout the liquid cooled version but im guessing if its using the same instruments/frame, and is stil made in china.. you will have the same problems.

@christopherchu - I had the 2009 air cooled version, think it was the one which produced around 18hp...

Within a 3 week period I had to replace the fuel tap, re-tune the carb because it was running rich from stock, Grind down the side stand so during hard left turns it wouldnt throw me off the bike. Replace the digital tacho since it kept failing in moist conditions. The major problem which was not covered by warranty was the erratic vibration at 90+ kph... Literally would throw your head aroun
