can any one tell me what do i need to do to make the d2 recognise shortcut files?

i have 8gb card and i have music in it so i took it and put it on the d2 2gb i have and i have put it in the folder as shortcuts but the d2 cant recognise them

You will get the new features that were introduced with the D2+ firmware (that's BBE+ and page scrolling in the filebrowser at the moment) and Cowon will continue making new and hopefully improved firmware version for the D2+ every now and then, while the legacy D2 might no longer receive any updates (just a guess).

I"m getting the D2+ 8GB since my cowon u3 headphone jack broke. Had the U3 for over 2 years. But i am really look forward to D2+. Gonna cherish this one.
