okay first you must understand just how flat this backhand is and the cross court side he can throw so much of his body into it and that is why it just blows by nadal. and the down the line looks awkward because its tougher to aim down the line anyway. we cant all look like federer when we play.

@YoSoyZuri he ran into tsonga there. tsonga was on fire and there wasnt much he could do xcept take a 6-0 set in the 3rd set - but that was only because tsonga was resting up to finish him off.

Nadal's backhand doesn't suck at all, on hard courts his backhand is much stronger than his forehand. Both Nadal's forehand and backhand are strong but just not clear cut the best in either category.
