in my opinion, the most beautiful song Quo ever did. closely followed by 'When im Dead and gone'. This song just puts a smile on your face no matter what mood your in
Surfing YouTube for Quo songs is such a blast; I thought they had disbanded back in the late '60s after "Pictures of Matchstick Men." Now I find myself humming song after song of theirs at work.
This is one of my all time favorite songs and this version is superb ! Jackie DeShannon was the queen of 60's pop song writers along with Carole King ! Thanks for posting this wonderful video !
How in the world I ever forgot about this great song, I will never know! Man, this brings back memories times a million for me. Status Quo was one of my favorite bands back in the 80's, and I just realized why I loved them so much back then...classic song!!! Thanks:)

First time I've seen or heard this. What a rubbish, unimaginative video; the music is really lacklustre, almost middle-of-the-road, nothing more worthy than an album filler, and a bad one at that. The Searchers' version from 1964, and the original by Jackie DeShannon had more life in it than this.
@CrankCase08 yeah have to agree with you . Yet in my hey-day enjoyed Pictures of matchstick men, however, they switched to ^*^* playing....enough said !!!
Nice version of a surprisingly well-traveled and recorded tune. A real classic. This is a nice version. Recommend the Karla Bonoff version as the best rendition. Check it out.
Someones not trying to say this is a patch on Miss DeSannon or the Searchers are they Get Real Quo are good but they are not playing this with 1960s type instruments IE a VOX organ and all of the Drumskins Guiters etc dont sound the same and No I like Abba but she cannot sing this like the 1960s sound the way it should be
I think that the Quo's version is good. Of course, not so as DeShannon's version, but Quo didn't fail the essence of the song... But that's just my point of view.
Wow, I'm very impressed! I am quite familiar with the '60s versions, but this one gives them a run for their money.
I liked the late-'60s Quo (Picturesque Matchstickable and Spare Parts, although I only bought the latter a couple of years ago), but have had no interest in the boogie band. Still, they are talented and know what they're doing.
No matter who performs it....it is still a wonderful song written by Jackie DeShannon. Great beat....great melody....nobody beats the early 60's writers!
always loved the Quo but have to agree with bjursten what wimpy music. It was done so much better by Jackie DeShannon and The Searchers. Sorry but to me this just isn't QUO.
all polydor classics Quo has to be in 240p or there is no sound how are all the quo fans not getting this

I love the video . . . . . . . what happened to the sound though ?
Does anyone know anything about the 'girls' video/film track?
Is it used anywhere else to accompany different music?

No sound, and there's no sound settings to adjust except volume which has no effect on this video.

For sound, alter the setting from 360p to 240p (Look on the left on the bar under the window)

Guitar distortion a rock record does not make.

Status Quo lost any credibility years ago - now they are just a joke imitation of Chas & Dave.
