You gonna head back to college or uni for film again? Me, Chris and Bain went to see some film Bain was in made for QMU... standard was considerably worse than this: actors falling out of shot, sound levels gone un-monitored, poor framing in general, etc...

But aye, good work and such! And incidentally, I thought the elf was pretty funny.

If this film is a parody or a take on others, the elf won't be out of place. But I quite like the eery, mysterious feel of the film. The lilting voice and bad acting of the elf ruined it for me. Others may get a good laugh out of it. I still think the person who made this film has good potential. The other characters played their part quite satisfactorily. Worth watching!

I think the makers of the short films you posted (if they are not all yours) have bright future in film making. The Poms have the knack for making good quality, cheaply produced, entertaining films. Please let me know when you start making big feature films. I shall be looking out for them.

If this is an amateur film, this is good or even better than some big budget short films. The elf ruined the atmosphere though.

Why did you think he ruined the atmosphere? Were the ears to fake looking or was he too theatrical?
