In RP English accents the name "Jasper" is pronounced similarly to how you would say it "JASS-per" as opposed to "JAH-sper" as you say in this. It's one of those weird anomalies of our country's language and accents. Not a dig, just saying! :-)

A lot of times recordings can sharp music. So maybe she DID sing an E but the recording turned it into an F... cause it does indeed sound like an F.
