I am from Germany and I like Obama in general but I am a bit uncertain if the "Nowinski" was not on purpose and political motivated. Maybe Obama wanted to show to the US press and potential voters that he is not giving to much credit and honour to a player that is not from the USA.

Dirk's been a superstar for a long time and Nowitzki's not exactly a difficult name to figure out, it's been annoying for years that people still butcher it so badly.

There's nothing like winning the first in team history, but going back-to-back will be a good feeling too. Wish the entire 2010 team could have been there. Sorry to see a lot of them go
