not having itune us not a con and the truth is alot of people don't use itunes i agree the apple app store is huge but most of the app are useless out of the box the nexus one is far better in everyway but apple is known for its come backs and the fan base people just like to have a choice mine is i like the n1 mainly cause it hardware it better with means with tweaking you can get alot more out of it then the iphone for now

the iphone doesnt even multi task if your listening to pandora and a text comes in you have to exit pandora to answer the text

and with apples approval process, nes apps, google voice, and numerous 17+ apps have all been denied from the apple store while android has all those apps, if theres something someone wants they can develop it

your basing your opinion on how people want to be in apples "walled garden" and people need itunes,but then you say your next phone will be an android device

im sooo tired of douchebags like this guy living in his grandmas house (got look at those blankets) not even picking up a nexus one and doing a comparison based on specs. nexus one has multi touch, there are already browser,gallery, and maps apps with pich zoom available since droids release

and not having itunes is not a con,and if you really want to use it on the droid you can open itunes and drag each song onto your nexus, you just cant sync, but if u want to sync then get an app you can get

Your review is biased in my opinion. Statistically the Nexus One beat the iPhone in almost ever category you listed yet your choice was the iPhone due to Apple ecosystem? If you just compare the two devices statistically the winner is obvious.

The hardware and form factor of the devise seems solid. I for one don't like Android OS. A little too cumbersome and not fluid enough for my tastes.

android does everything if not more than the iphone it just does. My cousin has iphone 3gs and in 3g my youtube videos load WAY faster than his(i have android). Same with internet either mine is faster or they are the same. You have to realize that every device needs maintenance so if your phone is slow clear cache, cookies, add ons, be friends with a task killer or store data to your sd card, both phones are equall except the customizing of android and thats why i'm sticking to android.

Saying "99% of the people i know have iPods/iPhones" and "everyone i know manages their music with iTunes" is either going too far or you have just isolated yourself to a group of Apple fanboys. Most people i know that have iPhones/iPods seems to think it's pretty stupid their only compatible with iTunes and i couldn't agree more. There are better software for that. There are also much better music players than iPods, people only get them because they're so "cool" and because everyone else has 1

Its impressive that the 3GS can match a phone with a much faster processor (The Snapdragon is ~66% faster than a cortex A8 at 600MHz), but I think the Iphone is due for an upgrade. Hopefully they will use the Snapdragon and double the RAM as well. Oh, and that gorgeous AMOLED screen the Nexus has.

The hardware is there, I think the Nexus One is just a software update (or a few) away from being significantly faster in every way.

hey great video man, i have a unlocked iphone for tmobile and love it but cant use all the features. just ordered the nexus one the other day and just hope with time android gets way better which it will.
