Hey Zed, if you're making the V.2 of this soundpack, will you also increase the volume or the epic "moooing" sound of GE90 when the thrust is at 50-60%? Other than that, this soundpack rules!
@lilthaiboy Rolls Royce Trent 800 is for Boeing 777-200/200ER/236ER/300, while GE90 is for Boeing 777-200ER/200LR/300ER. The Trent 800 produces thrust from 77.000 LBS to 95.000 LBS, while the GE90 produces 95.000 LBS to 115.000 LBS of thrust. GE90 is the most powerful jet engine in the world.
speaking about the "mooing" sound...that sound is extremely loud...just got back from my vacation had to take JAL which used the 773er...and man...even sitting at seat 17 or seat 46..that sound is loud...i know i sound like an idiot but this is the 1st time i've taken JAL and a GE engine 773er..
Actually, the 'mooing' present on the outside, but it's mostly drowned out by the combustion, as the recording is from a VERY close-up start. I will improve this for a V.2 release
I must also improve the exterior spool-up for the V.2 release as it doesn't sound too clear.
Dude, much thanks for making my 777's sound the way they should, there were some good soundsets available before but yours is what I was truly looking for in realism. Excellent work on all sounds.
i took the recordings from a GE90-115B, but it was a close-up recording, so the mooing sound might've been masked by the sheer sound of the combuster.
Plus, the sound is further masked by the APU sound from this soundpack.
Even with that, if you listen carefully, you will hear the sound.
well, i have to complete a huge computer project for school by mid-october, then i have to prepare for my exams. i also have many other soundpacks before the a330 ones which are close to perfection, and i will be uploading them earlier
it is a VERY complicated process, and it takes a few years of experience. i would suggest that you search up the details. OR: you can download my soundpack and see how it was made by looking inside the "sound" folder. you will understand the details pretty quickly if you take the second method.
Really a perfect work!!!

Amazing Takeoff from Malé MLE to DXB?????

@wctaovivo: This was actually two separate flights:) MLE was just for the main sounds, while DXB was simply used for the shutdown sounds

I like the spool-up in this one, but u forgot to include the "mooing" sound on startup.. still better than Christoffer Petersen's version though!

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Try watching a REAL GE-90 start up before saying things like "most realistic available".this is not how it sounds at all...
SQ772 2 years ago
Retarded.
GE90 close-up starts ALWAYS sound like this. If you watch some GE90 start videos, you would see the resemblace.
I've downloaded many other GE90 sounds for FS, and he's right in saying that this is THE most realistic one currently available. Kudos.
See his other vids, or try to create a soundpack yourself. I'd like to see how far you get.
