wow great stuff thomas lee what class I went in 63 and last jumpschool class of FY 63-63 ,last 4 week jump school at benning,then on to c/1/508th at bragg and a/2/503d in nam...,then Ranger cadre in 67-68 you ????

Went into the Army in 1962, jump school in "63" and was assigned to the 82nd. Never even checked, because I had volunteered for Special Forces, which I spent the remainder of my time (7th SFG). This video sent chills down my back. The greatest experience of my life. Having trouble explaining all this to my kids and grandkids. Thank you.

Man..Where is Tom Petty nowdays? He had great music..what we need today..He was bigtime when I was at Ft benning for Jump school.. March 1983 -42nd company.. They played on the loud speakers the band (Queen) playing -Another one bites the dust during Tower drop training..I never forget that.. love that song too..
