  • Awesome cover man...i love this song!

  • i like it..

  • I really liked your version, your voice might be a little rusty (Man U fan, or is it the Gunners?) but just what this song requires! I was surprised to see you were from Britain, I guess Neil has fans everywhere. I am from Argentina and my friends and I adored him for as long as I can remember. Moved to Dallas and got to meet him and his wife Pegi after a concert, it was the best experience in my life. Good luck! Duncan

  • ah man that really was great

  • Cheers STeven!

  • Great job! I like it very much. The recording is also good. One of the most beautiful songs.

  • Cheers art - very kind of you.

  • credible version, especially since Young has lost his voice -- next time round, back the guitar up from the mike

  • Do you think he's really lost his voice, or was he just taking it easy during/after his surgery. Really don't want to be putting a lot of pressure on those blood vessels when they're not in such good shape.

I didn't catch the CSNY tour, so I don't know how he does on other stuff.

  • Didn't know about Neil losing his voice. On this one the guitar was played through an amp (acoustic guitar, acoustic amp). I quite like a high guitar level 'cos my voice isn;t that strong.

  • great job! heart shifter,it's only a guitar but it catches the soul like catching a spider's web when your four years old with a bent twig. You never remember the dexterity or the chords only the soul and you've hit it!

  • Lovely comment - much appreciated!

  • Great one ss! I also use palm muting but it is something I don't really think about. See my version of Star Of Bethlehem to hear palm muting in action. It is something you will develop a feel for.

  • Ok many thanks for the comment - will do.

  • It would be difficult to show because you couldn't see it very well...I would start by resting your strumming hand on the strings and then easing the pressure until you get the desired tone.. you have to strum a litte harder too..I find it easier to do when not using a pick...

  • great playing and I like your singing on this too

  • Many thanks - you've raised the bar for everyone though with your Through My Sails. Just been trying to practise that. Maybe you could put up a video showing palm muting? Don't know how to do that.
