  • This guy is a fake conservative who pretends to believe in small government. Ron Paul 2012

  • "Freedom of opinion" may hold, but it doesn't excuse jackassery of this magnitude.

  • Um...Most young californians want gay rights so....wtf is this dumbass talking about

  • Synopsis (starting @35s): Sorba went full retard at the 2010 CPAC meeting, made some homophobic comments and got his dumb ass booed off the stage.

  • Can anyone tell me what was wrong with what he said: "Civil rights are grounded in 'Natural rights',

Natural rights are grounded in 'Human Nature',

Human nature is a rational substance in relationships,

The intelligible end of the reproductive act is reproduction".

I don't disagree with one word of it. Tell me where Ryan Sorba was wrong...

  • @roadkill439342 Um, what he said made him a piece of shit, thats mostly where he went wrong. Being gay is human nature to people who are gay. So go fuck yourself

  • @dbill27

No, Homosexuality is contrary to human nature and contrary to nature in General.

I suppose an uneducated person like yourself might say that there is "homosexuality" throughout all of the animal kingdom, but that simply is not true. "Same Sex" liaisons in the animal kingdom are driven by the instinct to be DOMINANT, and not because of companionship or need for "sex".

Sex IS and always has been driven by the need to procreate.

    Oh...nice language BTW.

    LOL

  • @roadkill439342 You seem hoist by your own petard vis-a-vis homosexuality in the animal kingdom. According to researcher Bruce Bagemihl's seminal work "Biological Exuberance", there is well documented evidence, including extensive observational accounts, for homosexual behaviors, including sex, courtship, affection, pair-bonding, and parenting in at least 1500 animal species, ranging from the gut worm to the higher primates, as of the book's publication in '99.

  • @aporia34

I suppose someone could also write a book about a girl who walks thru mirrors into an alternate reality as well.

  • @roadkill439342 I gather that such a fatuous, if not perfectly inane, response is likely representative of the quality of refutation/counter-argument which you generally accept as satisfactory. However, if unable to produce, minimally, a basic syllogism, I fear that our dialogue may suffer the same ill-fated demise as that of all conversations which abjure reason in deference to the more primitive, yet perhaps more instinctive, chirping tendencies , of our inner primate... Fodder for the brain.

  • @aporia34 Hi there. I'm John Q Thesaurus, just stopping by to remind the good English speaking people of the world that condescending grandiloquence (using higher tier words to sound smarter than someone) should be left to the professionals like rocket scientists and coffee shop hipsters. It is, for rabid humanists and Christians alike, a power far too great to be used responsibly. Thanks, winners don't do drugs. (Also, what the shit commas?)

  • The homophobic rantings and fascist leanings of Sorba should provoke a greater sense of outrage than even the most prolix of commentaries. That such nuance may not be readily obvious is a troubling and poignant reminder that our species does indeed bear the "lowly stamp of its origin." Oh, and if you care to reply, feel free to send a private message. I find this sort of public howling to be rather undignified, as it contributes nothing to the commentary and, also, tends to hijack the thread.

  • @alugarDtiH However, I do agree that language is powerful and is, furthermore, most effectively employed without the use of infantile sarcasm, ad hominem attacks, and the unrelenting disdain for any mode of discourse not sufficiently banal to suit the plebeian tastes which the more cynical in our midst require. At any rate, I would suggest that if you are to contribute to the thread, perhaps offer a critique of Sorba, whom I esteem as considerably more worthy of your ire.

  • @alugarDtiH While I do advocate that we grapple with language and ideas, we need not libel those groups e.g. scientists, hipsters, Christians, humanists, etc. whose vernacular might adopt a different tone. In doing otherwise, to paraphrase Twain, we become "two peoples, forever separated by a common tongue."

  • @alugarDtiH I would venture to say that of those persons who speak the English language, each does so with varying degrees of economy, elocution, etc. Attacking me (personally) and denouncing the unique lexical and syntactic tendencies within my writing isn't just arbitrary, it's pernicious given the accusation (made rather explicit) that such habits are necessarily a mark of arrogance and bravado on behalf of the author.

  • Ryan Sorba is an entirely unappetizing douchebag. His type of conservative is fortunately a dying breed. Time to put him out to pasture.

  • Just before this Sorba had booed a guy from Students for Liberty who had commended CPAC for inviting GOProud. That is why he was booed immediately. THIS by the way, not foreign policy, is why YAF (Young Americans for Freedom) declared war on Ron Paul and Young Americans for Liberty (once students for Ron Paul.) The crowd in this video were waiting for Ron Paul to speak as speeches were running late.

THIS is why YAF announced when Ron Paul won CPAC that they wanted him out.

  • ¡AWESOME! I dont know what all it's gonna take for these SELF-LOATHING, modern day UNCLE TOM's to learn that they ARE NOT welcome in the RepubliKLAN Party!! Is saving $15,000-20,000 on your taxes worth THAT!!

Talk about being SOULLESS, damn these guys are nailing you in the rear w/out lube and you are PUSHING BACK, Oh wait!.....my bad!

  • Ryan Sorba, do you really have to do this!? You've got to be kidding me! As a Ron Paul Republican, this is why I HATE the GOP establishment.

  • Ryan Sorba is a piece of shit.

  • I'm trying to fly out to CPAC tomorrow lol. I can't wait to tell this guy to go F himself if he shows up there.

  • Closet Case of the Year Award.

  • While I think this guy is an asshole, I can't even fathom the idea of gay Republicans, and I'm gay.

GOProud guys-- guess what? They hate your fucking guts. Get it now?

  • @expatted I'm a gay republican. Not all republicans hate gays. In fact, 80% of the republicans I know are ok with gays, and I live in the south! Just because we disagree with our party on this one issue doesn't mean we can't be republicans. If you're a democrat (not saying you are, just saying IF) do you agree with your party on EVERYTHING? The Republican party is becoming more open to gays.

  • @STOPobama1 Gay Republicans are idiots. Why do you hate yourself?

  • @expatted What? Hate myself? I don't. I just happen to be a fiscal conservative and social moderate. The Republican Party best fits my ideals. NOT ALL REPUBLICANS ARE HOMOPHOBIC ANTI-GAYS! Look at Laura Bush, who said she's ok with gay marriage. Look at Dick Cheney who has a lesbian daughter and said he supports gay marriage. Heck, Bush's 2004 campaign manager and RNC chairman is gay!

  • @STOPobama1 Look at Ryan Sorba. Look at man-on-dog Santorum. Look at half of these fat-assed bigots and haters. Whatever, bro. Keep sucking up to people that hate you. Maybe you are mentally ill.

BTW Bush is responsible for blowing up the debt. How is that being fiscally conservative, or don't the 8 years of bu$hCo. count now? Idiot. Your GOP wars are the biggest drain on the treasury. I suppose you also support TORTURE. Moron.

  • @expatted Whoever said I supported Bush? Just because I'm a conservative doesn't mean I do. I'm not trying to get into an overall political debate here. All I'm saying is I can be a conservative and still be gay.

  • @STOPobama1 Maybe you just hate your gay brothers that suffer from the bigotry of the GOP? Probably, that's it. Traitor.

  • @expatted Oh shut up, you moron.

  • @STOPobama1 Anyway, I feel sorry for you. I'll pray you don't get beat up at a CPAC convention. There are programmes available to help you build your self respect.

  • Someone needs to tell this downright moron that Jeff Frazee wasn't even there

  • Conservatives.....BEING HOMOPHOBIC?! Oh my god. Who would've thought?

  • I think they should have swung. You see all those commentators like beck and olberman and limbough and schultz talking shit to each other. I bet none of these pussies have been in a street fight in their lives.

  • Fuck Libertardianism.

  • Well said Ryan. Of course you speak for most Americans.

  • Does this guy think he's on Jersey Shore or something? What's with the macho tough guy attitude?

And by his logic, sterile heterosexuals shouldn't be allowed to marry. In fact, people shouldn't be allowed to marry unless they agree to have children. If it's all about reproduction, as he expressly claims in this video, then he needs to broaden his list of people to spew hatred at.

  • @PoliticsStudent I think he has watched goodfellas one to many times. and he thinks just by watching it he would last 30 seconds in a street fight. lotta those types around these days.

  • If ryan sorba thinks he so tough, then why does'nt he go and fight one of these wars he supports. Fuckin chickenhawk!!!!!!!

  • This guy is a piece of shit.

  • This guy is why I am not a conservative nor will I ever be.

  • These so called "conservatives" want to bann homosexuals from having freedoms and yet there for "small government" . If i wnated big government into my personal live i would vote democrat. im glad i became a libertarian so i dont have to here these big government morons anymore

  • Please, more of Sorba. The GOP has already cooked itself among blacks, latinos and indians. Might as well move goproud over the the democratic party where it belongs anyway. And methinks the young Sorba doth protest too much. Maybe he and Rekers have something in common.

  • RYAN SORBA will be on my show today (04.27.2010). you can listen in at at 1 pm PST!!!

  • test

  • I feel that this man demonstrated extreme courage. I'd like to know how many of you anonymous computer-commando's would get up in front of a hostile crowd and speak your piece? It's funny how you're all for freedom of speech, except when it's something you don't like to hear!

  • Ryan Sorba looks and sounds like a cocksucker. I give him a year, before he "comes out".

  • ugly kike piece of shit they should have rushed the stage and bashed his brains in !!!

  • He's clearly a closet homosexual who thought the GOProud guy's dick was too small when he was taking it in the bathroom.

  • where in the constitution does it say that someone cannot engage in homosexual sex

  • @deltapunk21 How can you be so against sodomy when you clearly have your head up your ass?

  • @deltapunk21 just because its digusting dosent mean it should be banned plus i though we were suppose to love our neighbors and enemies?

  • @deltapunk21

Well I am Lez and proud and I say fuck you.

  • Bryan Fischer:

"For David Keene and the others who run CPAC, natural marriage is not, in their judgment, a fundamental conservative value. This conference, for the sake of truth in advertising, should be relabeled "The Libertarian Political Action Conference." It has forfeited any legitimate claim to the "Conservative"." moniker. ... "

  • @iprazhm ... The pro-homosexual agenda is to use the coercive power of the state illegitimately to force citizens to accept and give public recognition/support to behavior that is merely degeneracy and a private vice in the view of most people. It's anti-libertarian and anti-conservative.

It's homo-fascism, and the movement's history is ably researched and presented in Lively and Abrahams's 'The Pink Swastika'.

  • @ProNorden

    Right on. Well said!

  • @ProNorden so you like going into people lives how "conservative " you are.

  • @TheJoelef ... It's the other way around: pro-homosexual activists trying to shout-down and censor free speech. And trying to force people to grant a privileged standing that homosexuality doesn't merit. Of course it's arguable as to whether or not natural marriage should receive any preferred standing and public benefits.

But sodomy amounts to masturbation for two or more neurotic players, and serves no public purpose warranting support or approval. Private quirk at best; also a bad example.

  • @ProNorden How are they trying to take away your free speech. You have a right to think what you want . So you like prohibting things then because you dont agree with them? I dont think homosexuality is right either but i also dont ahve a use the government to tell people what to do in there lives but you like big government in our personal lives so its useless talking to you.

  • @TheJoelef ...Do you not pay attention to who has said/done what (re this video and others) , or do you just not care?

Re your "how are they trying to ..." check any of the videos of 'Feder at UMass' or 'Sorba at Smith College', and then maybe "hate speech legislation" + "sexual orientation".

The homofascist tendency is shown there and in their efforts to subvert the Referendum process on Marriage. Also, check Lively and Abraham's The Pink Swastika'.

If you care. It's a sinister movement.

  • @ProNorden I believe its just an excuse for the religios to expand government in people lives. No one should take your right to speech . I dont like any kind of prohibition whether its banning trans fats are banning gay marriage

  • @TheJoelef...Re the "prohibiting things..", you've got the sides mixed up. We Pro-Family folks recognize the rights of competent adults to make enforceable contracts, declaring themselves whatever they like... a 'marriage', 'bowling team', 'mardi gras parade', whatever. Enforceable between the signators. Not enforceable against everybody else, who might not regard them as any of the foregoing .

It's the pro-perversion community that seeks to force things on people.

    But you knew that, right?

  • @ProNorden and who decided whats whats foregoing and whats not.?I think government should be out of marriage period but the government cannot afvor one group because some religion says it wrong. and its NOT "pro-family" its anti gay . you could give too shits about real family issues .

  • @TheJoelef ... It's the right of any individual, or group (like a state's citizens) to choose what they will or won't regard as a legitimate marriage. In law, it's a public policy question that the public rightly determines through our legislatures or by direct referendum.

BTW, when you say you "don't think homosexuality is right", how so?

  • @ProNorden I dont think it gods way however i dont like the hateful attitudes that many right-wingers ahve towards them. I show gays much compassion. Ive seen a few get beat up and treated like crap. God said to love your neighbor.

  • @TheJoelef Curious how the Youtube 'system' has just now started 'failing' with error messages to allow us access to the video we're using for discussion.

Re the last point of yours that I read, I don't see much point in introducing religion or speculation about God into the topic.Too subjective.

Re the bullying by thugs etc, Understandable sympathy (and sometimes the 'gay movement's propaganda) doesn't change the relevant considerations of good public policymaking re marriage and free speech.

  • @ProNorden do you think taht the government should upheld the definition of marriage?

  • @TheJoelef ...Re "upholding the definition of marriage", Two considerations: 'Legitimacy of Process', and Policy.

Procedurally, the definition of what citizens of a state recognize/approve as 'marriage' (whether polygamy, 'remarriage', age standards, etc.) is up to the citizens through their legislature or referendum.

On good Policy grounds I advocate only granting marriage licenses for natural/heterosexual monogamous marriage of citizens at least 18 years old, and with prior counseling.

  • @ProNorden well then you want you government in people lives and the governemnt defining marriage.

  • @TheJoelef ...Re "government defining marriage"...Hope your not too shocked and disappointed to learn that you can't "marry" your several hypothetical underage sisters and your Dad. We do maintain public standards against ludicrous perversions misrepresenting themselves as marriage. Same goes for homosexuality.

  • @ProNorden I dont care . People should do what they want as long as they dont hurt anyone but your probably for big government in our lives just like liberals . You want to do the same thing you get mad at the "gay miltias" forcefeed your religion down people throaths. What a hyprocrate.

  • @TheJoelef .. Might you be 'trolling'?

  • @ProNorden no im poiinting out facts you are just like the "pro gay"people your were talking about. You bitching that there trying to forcefeed there beliefs down our throats when you are doing the exact same thing. Government should be defining marriage at all but if you are you cater to one religious belief then we might as well live in iran.

  • @TheJoelef ..If you're not just trolling, then review my past few to several answers and you'll see that your last post is false. Perhaps you might care.

  • @ProNorden im not trolling.

  • There was no freedom of opinion. The thugs in the audience violated the free speech of the speaker just like the liberal thugs in universitys across America when conservatives or freedom lovers or patriots or pro-lifers speak. CPAC has made itself inconsequential. It has become that which it was created to oppose. Disallowing those with moral fortitude and integrity, those who are true conservatives by definition, to speak is heinious.

  • "In fact, GOProud's commitment to constitutionally protected homosexual sodomy (i.e., anal intercourse) is not a position that appears on the agenda of any conservative groups. Hence, using the term "gay conservative" to describe these people is either a deliberate deception or an oxymoron that doesn't stand up under scrutiny."Cliff Kincaid

  • Not gonna lie... I get a hardon every time I see conservative Republicans booing this dickhead off the stage.

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • The douchebags' douchebag.

  • Guess what? Guess what? Ryan Sorba is so far in the closet that he's having adventures in Narnia.

  • Smh

  • It's about time the GOP started embracing alternative lifestyles. When men 'marry' other men and consummate their 'marriages', how will we explain that to the kids. Doesn't the healthcare system have enough problems already without promoting AIDS behavior? This group, GOPride, are some pretty smart fellas for having infiltrated CPAC.

  • @FreedomUSA1

Hi Ryan Sorba, do you want to have some wicked gay butt sex and then we can cuddle and day dream about what America with Ron Paul as President would be like ?

  • For one, I am a Conservative and against it because it is sin. Conservatives are to embrace strong moral family values and God that is how I see it. They can turn from their sinful lifestyle. Everyone makes choices in this life and homosexuality is a sin read the Holy Bible. I do not condonne spewing hatrid and am glad when I can get someone turned around from this devil lifestyle. It is pure evil. We are to turn from sin. This is what is wrong with the world today. I do not hate the person.

  • If this is a sign of things to come, gay conservatives and libertarians will cause enough infighting in the GOP to hand Obama his second term easily.

  • I wish there was a vomit emoticon.

  • @NonfatAntipop There is :O= lol

  • @NonfatAntipop There is :O= lol

  • Perhaps someone should point out to this moron that homosexuality is very natural and is found in MANY animal species, not just humans.

But for those going the "God" route please reread the Bible because Jesus said NOTHING about homosexuality but he was VERY against divorce. So for the idiots wanting to "save marriage" they should work on outlawing divorce!

  • Yes God did say something in the bible, man shall lay with man and woman shall not lay with woman.

  • @trishhooper I didn't say "God" I said "Jesus". And for the record there are only 6 admonishments of homosexuals in the Bible and 362 of heterosexuals.

I really don't expect Christians to actually know this because they never crack open the book.

Divorce affects far more people than gay marriage would so if you really want to "save marriage" make it illegal to get a divorce!

There is NOTHING sacred about something 2 drunk strangers can do at 3 AM in Vegas!!!

  • Ryan is just speaking for the majority of Americans and how they feel about the sham known as SSM. The truth is hard to belittle.

  • "how they feel about the sham known as SSM"

What makes Same sex marriage a sham? What makes heterosexual marriage the real 'thing'?

  • Whatever position this Ryan dude holds...he should just bend over...cuz he just did himself in. see ya bye...RYAN.

  • I run the YAF chapter in Sacramento. Ryan Sorba is an embarrassment. I am going to call the YAF office tomorrow and see what is going on.

As a conservative, I believe the government needs to stay out of our lives, and that includes our bedrooms.

Good thing Sorba got boo'ed offstage. He was supposed to speak for 10 min, but couldn't even manage 2 min.

  • Good strong Conservative stand for the Bible, strong family values, etc. I am glad I am one!

  • @trishhooper

So what do you think about about all the concervative members of government getting busted with their pants around their ankles with another man? Heck, I'm surprised when that "man" is over the age of 18 nowadays considering some of these "family values" crusaders...

  • "I love it." He probably is into S&M.

  • GoRyan - YES!

    GOProud - definitely NO

  • Go, Ryan and SHAME ON CPAC. Preference politics means a bigger EEOC and more hate crimes and more government. What part of "Conservative" does CPAC stand for???

  • Yea really! Get Big Government out of our Lives!....unless were talking about the private sex lives of others..and then by all means get as much government intervention as possible!! Right? Ha. People who are obsessed with stopping gay rights have insecurity issues.

  • @chesterfieldtownship

Are you kidding? Sorba is the one with "preference politics."

  • Who is that putz speaking? He showed his immaturity by how he reacted. Esh. I'd hate for that to be all over the internet if that was me!

  • @ibdugefrsh Gee, I wish everyone wanted America to be as free as it is supposed to be. Last time I checked, marriage was known as a social union. I am also so relieved to know that what others condone makes something right no matter what others might think or how they feel. Wow, what a concept for a free nation. Looks like some other examples of "genetic defect" are floating around. By the way, who is "most of us"?

  • Yep, that was us yelling "Ron Paul" in the crowd, baby.

    Love you Jeff ♥

  • hmm... as much of an asshole as he is he has a fairly strong point about natural rights. Our purpose in life encompasses reproduction and loving our children, rights and freedoms spawn from the obligations that arise from that enterprise. Without being limited by obligations, freedom would just mean each of our "right" to do whatever we please regardless of anything, including others personal well-being and life.

  • how does one's non-reproduction affect anyone else? what if a straight man or woman chooses never to have kids? they might as well have been gay and, according to that logic, be considered unworthy of civil liberties.

what about impotent humans? what about asexual humans?

an argument that declares only the reproductively sound to be deserving of civil liberties is a silly buckshot in a blind alley and is, i think, a pretty clear departure from the fundamental tenets of liberty.

  • Reproduction and the emotions/feelings/obligations that arise from it are the essence of what it means to be human. That is how evolution designed us and is thus an irrefutable fact. Having dysfunctional reproductive system does not make someone non-human. Their essence remains the same and so they retain the obligations that others owe them. Plus treating people as non-humans would be bad for the perpetuation of life and the well-being of our offspring. You don't understand what liberty is.

  • wait, so youre saying that gays are indeed worthy of civil liberties?

  • All humans are worthy of the same civil liberties. But first everyone already has the freedom to marry someone of the opposite gender, but more importantly, marriage should not be thought of as a civil liberty, but an oath of obligation between a man and woman for the responsibility they owe to their offspring.

  • @Weeth Conservatives hate freedom of expression of anyone who isn't straight, Protestant and Conservative. In other words, they hate freedom.

  • @SpazzzDog Which is why the false dichotomy between "liberals" and "conservatives" is so pernicious. The "right" and "left" are 2 peas in a statist pod and should be regarded as such.

  • @Weeth Great points. Ryan is an idiot. Infertility is on the rise in this country yet by Ryan's arguments, they shouldn't be able to get married either, since they are "useless" and can't reproduce. How about the elderly? Should a widowed elderly woman be prevented from marrying? This guy clearly is a bigot of the Christian kind who, like Sharia Law defenders, wants to force his religious principles on other by legislating against hardworking, responsible gay folks and denying them rights.

  • Typical homo tactic to shout down dissension. I can't wait for this civil war to get going just so so go pride dipshits can learn about manly pride at the end of a gun. I am now a Ryan Sorba fan !

  • Manly pride? Why do you need to PROVE you're manly by bitching so much about homosexuals?

Get over it you closet case.

  • did you just advocate shooting gays?

    ... really?

  • @Weeth Yeah, if you are talking about what

hobo59 said, that is really funny, considering that on his profile on here, he spouts off about his good Christian values. That is what I find so disturbing about these people, they do not view anyone that shares their warped values as human beings even though their "values" say to love all humans. They have no problem talking threats and violence aimed at those that are different than them. Who is really the unnatural animal? Hmmm...

  • "Nature" is just a mechanism that earth organisms use and is defined by its objective existence. The "natural" course of things originates from nothing other than the choices that those organisms make. An anomaly like homosexuality is no different of a unique trait than Ryan Sorba's proclivity for being an intolerant and fearful human being. Mr. Sorba is more deplorable because he has the choice to learn about that which he does not understand, while most people do not choose homosexuality.

  • marriage is not a natural right... it's a contract... life liberty and the pursuit of happiness are... sorba is patently and unequivocally, wrong. But good one Ryan, you've just kissed the ass of every neo-con in the world... you'll have a great job with them, right after they have you as their own ass boy. hahaha...

  • Marriage is an obligations for the benefit of the offspring that arise from marriage. Without marriage, the emotional and psychological well-being of children is at risk. So I am against diluting it's meaning by allowing gays to marry though I believe they should have the same legal freedoms. Is that bigotry?

  • @dbmcmillan If I cannot physically have children, then I guess I should divorce my husband and remain unmarried for the rest of my life since the reason for getting married is to have children.

  • The reason for getting married is to create a contract of obligations. The reason for these obligations is for our children. You can do whatever you want, marriage is already pretty meaningless when there are no legal penalties, but instead rewards, for breaking our most important obligations. If you don't see these obligations as serving some greater purpose, I don't see why you would want to get married in the first place. Perhaps you can tell me, why did you get married if not for that reason

  • @dbmcmillan We got married because we love and are committed to each other. We got married because we love each other so much that if something happens to one of us and one of us is in the hospital, we want to be able to be by each other's side. When one of us dies,we know the other will be able to take care of things as we wished. We got married because we wanted to shout to the world how much we love each other.I just don't understand why it is such a problem if others want those same things.

  • Very shallow argument that falls apart under examination. Not being married shouldn't prevent people from being by each other's side in the hopital or taking care of things when someone we love passes away. The romantic vanity of having to "shout out to the world how much we love each other" is what I am against. It is a completely vain reason in comparison to the obligations arising from childbirth. Love doesn't require faithfulness, obligations do, that is why married people take oaths.

  • @dbmc serious question:

should couples be able to get married if they have absolutely no intention whatsoever of ever reproducing?

  • its not bigotry, but it may be hypocrisy.

  • lol I don't think you have the information about me to know whether I'm being a hypocrite. Do you even know what hypocrisy means? It is when you say or preach differently than you do or practice. It is when you hold others to a higher standard than you hold yourself.

  • ok, well, forgive me for being presumptious, dbmc, but i went on and presumed 3 things: that you are straight, you either do, or intend to, enjoy the institution of marriage, and that you support liberty.

if you are straight, enjoy the institution of marriage, and also claim to promote liberty, you may be treading in hypocritical waters by promoting the use of government coercion to prevent others from doing as you do.

  • but maybe youre a liberty-hating gay who has no intention of ever getting married... in which case i sincerely apologize, dbmcmillan.

  • it's bigotry if you have no tolerance for other peoples opinion... check out the dictionsary.

  • young americans for homophobia. what a bunch of hacks! YAL for LIFE

  • I agree with this guy. Ron Paul forever, no faggots on my team!

  • Thou doth protest too much, methinks.

  • I guess Ryan has never masteuerbated as that is also not reproduction....he is so pure.

  • @PoliticalPorno but jerking off to some big hairy cocks is what I'm about LOL

  • bagboy1967, you're nothing buy an anti-liberty, big government, oppressive neocon. If you support freedom, then you must support it for all. Oh, and how is Ron Paul a sellout? Dr. Paul is the only real conservative.

  • I know some are saying that there were Ron Paul people booing, and that is partially true, but the Sorba guy came off instantly as a homophobic asshole who lied about using the podium to talk about his student group. Most of us were booing all of the above. I yelled out I hope you get raped in prison, so that was my small contribution

  • @adm5 agreed! Ron Paul 2012 (no faggots needed)

  • @TheEbonicslover No way! I want gay, lesbian, bisexual, asexual, transgendered, and yes, even straight people voting for liberty and limited government in 2010, 2012, and beyond! We'll even accept support from intolerant people like you. :-)

  • @dmg986 oh yeah? so why do they push for legislations to get passed all the time? If two fags are doing each other in private I don't care as long as they stay away from my anus and my WALLET.

  • @TheEbonicslover You apparently care enough to be complaining about "those damn faggots" on here. And who's going after your wallet? Or your ass? That's right, no one of any sexual orientation.

  • @dmg986 let me put it this way, there is a reason why they seek the legalization of marriage. What is the reason for having some administrative bureaucracy watching over it?

Personally I am certain two men doing it is a contradiction of the laws of nature besides just being disgusting.

  • Wow this guy is an asshole.

  • Your basic xenophobic neocon......

Just as bad as any interventionist Keynesian liberal.....

  • Yeah, we need to expose all of these haters as the neoconservatives that they are. Sorba just embarrassed himself, and the organization that he is apart of.

  • This homophobic rant is an excellent

glimpse into the soul of Ryan Sorba. Freedom of speech is a powerful right and a great value. When one speaks, words are the means of making the speaker's soul visible. Ryan Sorba is telling the world who he is in letters five feet tall.

He is not advocating rights, not individual rights; he is issuing commandments. Morality cannot be commanded. So, listen to him, let him speak, take his words seriously. Jay Batman

  • The human rights of everyone, including Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender people, are rooted in American values. Anyone can support human rights to create a more better Earth. I never viewed Gay Rights as a Republican v. Democrat or Religious v. Non-Religious conflict. Gay Rights is Human Rights. This Ryan guy does not speak for me as a Californian or CPAC. Ryan should not have been at CPAC, in my opinion. I am planning to vote Independent/Green Party cause of a change of mind, that's all.

  • totakikay - Well America including Obama seems to think marriage should be between a man and a woman...

  • I really got the feeling Sorba is gay. Closeted, I'm sure. The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

  • If you care about saving the country from Obama/Dems/Liberals, focus on what they are doing to turn us into a socialist country instead of what some guy says about some other guy.

  • What about the statists in the GOP? are they no danger?

  • The are an even bigger danger in the long run but right now they are not in power.

  • You forgot to mention neocons

  • But why did he attack Frazee? Jeff wasn't even involved in this at all, and Ryan didn't even see Jeff in the audience. It seems Ryan had an axe to grind agaist YAL, and by making a personal attack not only does he discredit himself, he discredits his own organization.

  • The people booing were waiting to hear Ron Paul speak (which is why when they tried to shut Sorba up, they were calling for Ron Paul.) YAL is Young Americans for Liberty, a spin off of the 'Students for Ron Paul' group which is well represented in that room and at CPAC. Jeff is the leader of YAL. Sorba was holding Frazee responsible for the audience. As a Ron Paul supporter myself, I can live with that.

  • Sorba was out of line attacking Frazee and YAL. I was just explaining his motivation. The venue was also wrong for him to bash other organizations.

  • That is why we are trying to show the Republican party that we have what it takes to pull Independent thinkers. Unfortunately we are stuck in a left/right paradigm where a 3rd party stands no chance

  • Easy. Because you can't win as a Libertarian. Who gives a shit what they want? If they are gonna run a monopoly on political power with the Democrats, people put pressure on them both to change their evil ways.

  • Young Americans for Fakery. They are fake Conservative NeoCons.

  • "you just made an enemy out of me jeff frazee"

hahaha...this guy was a total douche. booed off stage. best part of the day

  • Use this to expose YAF as the GOP funded hack organization they are. There I said it. bring it Sorba. I was in the crowd and wanted to do a double leg takedown coupled with graound and pound on your weak trust fund head. This video needs to go mega-viral!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Total douchebag. I'm pretty sure that CPAC's organizers are smart enough to never invite him back.
