i get so much hate for liking this band and i dont get it. they're flippin amazing. some of the most unique lyrics, insane rhythm, amazing voices and drums, like.. what the FUCK is there to hate on?
I find it so mad that the bass player Morgan went from being in this hard hittin' rough spittin' punk band to being in a beautiful harmonious folk band (Fleet Foxes). Awesome
Let's face it...people only illegally download simply cause they feel like they won't get caught right??? Because they've done it for SOOO LONG, and still no consequences that hurt em....oh well. Either way, I LOVE THE BLOOD BROTHERS!!
to the guy saying support piracy, find a nice sharp object and impale yourself with it. Everything about your statement was pathetic. Not only is being a musician a job, and career but it takes more than being the night manager at mcDonalds to pull it off. Obviously you're not only a bigot, but you aren't intelligent enough to respect a career for what it is. Not everyone wants to live with their parents the rest of their lives.
@theWhalesAreDrowning if a band is good, non douchey, and creates art as honestly as possible, then they'll survive on touring/merch etc. funds for quite awhile as long as they keep at it. I'd kill to tour the world playing music that I loved even if it meant I'd have to wear the same clothes every week because people found out about us through illegally torrenting our discography. A "career" is just a man-made piece of shit anyways.
I will be honest and say that I wasn't a big fan of the blood brothers until young machetes but when I listen back on their previous albums such as crimes and such I have become a big fan of their work. And this video is awesome. LIKE
@imjeff3 I must have seen these guys every time they played New England, NYC, PA and almost at every single show there was always a small group of people booing, throwing shit, not wanting to be there. They had a long road of critics.
@BrothersOfDecadence People are crappy for the most part. That is the only reason that I don't enjoy going to shows sometimes. And I can honestly say that I didn't really like them at first but after hearing as many God awful bands that I have in the past I realized that the Brothers are actually very musically skilled.
@Picturesinthebook Do you already know that no one agrees with that whole first paragraph, so you have to sucker them in with "Support Piracy and illegal downloading" at the end? You suck dude, desperately asking for thumbs up is desperate in the first place.
Intellectual property rights is just name of the piece used in money and poser fight, is has nothing to do with "respect the creations". There are no artist, only businessman. I pay for food, repair, and math teaching. Now you would like to sell me your art? Artist is not a occupation, you moan and want attention because you are hungry like everybody else, please don't ask for extra respect.

@Picturesinthebook I mean I've done my share of illegal downloading, but art isnt an occupation? Really? And you pay for math teaching? What the fuck does that mean?
chrisgeedoublezyo - The drummer is fucking amazing. I think he must be self-taught, too....some of the stuff he does I have a hard time believing he learned from an instructor.
if you dig this, go check out "this love feels like a heart attack" or "dial b for bewilderment" by pack of wolves from austria. they're awesome, too!
The drummer Mark is currently the beat master for the rap group Champagne Champagne, they're a pretty sick group and put on a good live show. Saw them a Bumbershoot myself and their performance was right up there with the big bands in terms of showmanship
I'm glad someone finally agrees with me! Mark (the drummer) is really underrated. I always thought he was incredible. This band is definitely one of the best. <3
wtf henry rollins had badass bands lk blood brothers and the mars volta on his show!?!

you can only watch it if you have extra channels its on iFC as you can see. The host is Henry Rollins, you know the guy from black flag. You shouldn't know who the blood brothers and not know their roots.
no they dont get interviewed, they have like a guest, usually an actor whos a activist of a political activist dude, then they have a music act, its an awesome show
@chrisgeedoublezyo I heard his brother Rudy is more skilled, but I haven't heard much of him. Regardless, Mark definitely has an advanced grasp on beats. He's done some pretty great stuff. In Past Lives he's making really interesting and intricate beats that are danceable at the same time.
I love the blood brothers but dont you hate when people try to compare their cds?
all of their cds from rumors laid waste up to Young machetes are amazing! no 2 cds, scrach that NO 2 SONGS sound the same thats whats so great about this band they always kept it fresh right up until the end. it sucks because I only had one chance to see them live but I didnt have enough $ to fly to the "live at emos show in texas" (I live in IL)

If you weren't a dolt, you'd understand what my username meant, but alas, you are. I actually studied Philosophy in college; and I'm not as musically ignorant as you seem to be, especially if you consider yourself a music major. Hell, any kid going through college at least knows how to type. Don't quit your day job, tough guy.
Dude you don't judge just because of your username, if you go to college , or because of what your degree is. Point is, you don't judge at all lolz. You just listen to the music and if you don't like it, then you just stop watching. Simple as that. =P

the best news i will ever hear will be if you removed scene from your youtube name because only 13 year old emo twits put that in screen names....i bet you even paint your nails black because thats the "cool thing to do"....your right you are so hip and such a music master ....i should come to you with all of my music preferences so that you may show me the error of my ways...plz tell me how many years you studied music in college....or are you still in high school ...? Go cry yourself to sleep

How about you all just shut up and watch the video?
If you don't like it, don't watch it.
Picking fights on YouTube is pathetic.
