  • praise dog!

  • I searched "Candle" and now I'm looking for a video that has more Dislikes than Likes so I can say the like bar looks like a burnt candle. :p

  • Další vynikající pecka!!Skinny puppy super band!

  • I am a right winger...Skinny Puppy would hate me...but everytime I listen to this song I listen to it over and over, and can't hear anything else for days. It wakes me up at night...it is not music...it is subconscience streaming behind a beat. It absolutely reaches into my shadow angels. It is not a song for me....rather a connection with my instincts. REACH!!!

  • fuck me farting - there is a swastika convo underway

  • can we say process church much?

can we say 'too much short edited version' much?

  • Comment removed

  • @cryonisis1 non, sis/bro sorry ive non to do with church or religion... children

  • My fav song by them :D

  • oh yes this is one of their best, me too dr who nico. great great

  • Who in their right mind would DISLIKE puppy?

  • @kokomotoysonline

    Mormons

  • @kokomotoysonline, I am trying to like them, but I can't. I like stuff like Front 242, Kraftwerk, and 90s NIN, but Skinny Puppy always sounded like screeching noise to me. I am trying to hard to listen to all their music on Youtube, but it hasn't sinked it. It never did in the past 20 years sinked in with me.

  • @TheSeductiveArts you dont have to force yourself to like them, Im a huge fan, but ill be the first to admit their sound isnt for everyone, nothing wrong with not being able to get into a good artist if its not your type of music ;)

  • @TheSeductiveArts i would have to agree with what someone else said, albeit i've liked skinny puppy since i was 12 or 13 (the first song i ever heard was 'Optimissed'), but i also felt like a lot of their music was a bit too much for me. now 7 years later, having heard almost their entire body of work, they are hands down my favorite group of all time. their music really varies pretty significantly throughout all of their albums, each of which really deserve a lot of attention.

  • @xboom I agree...I had to get older and...angrier...but that may be a bad way to say it. More aware?

  • More good references.

  • OMG Canada best imports

  • This the my fave Puppy cd dispite the tragedy of Dwayne.

Check out BREAK ME on our site and let me know if you like it.

    Sam

  • If a woman wearing head phones queefs in the forest and no one is around to hear it does it make a sound?

  • This album was my acid album.......... those were the days

  • @otterboi26 lol awesome! mine was marylin manson antichrist super star.

  • @ivegotamagicstix id have to say antichrist superstar played a pretty big roll as well. Not to mention lots of Waiting For God, such a good vancouver band.

  • Much of this vid seems very similar to the vids for two other songs from the Process: look up the vids for "Curcible" and "Hardset Head"... nonetheless it still came out pretty well

  • just to clarify: it's not a swastika, there was no tour for this album, it's the actual video, not backing film

  • a very listenable record for skinny puppy.grade a

  • I luckily saw them in 1992 in Miami. I have turned many people into Puppy. Once in a lifetime change. Great vid

  • R.I.P DR Goettel

  • I saw this video on MTV Alternative Nation back in the mid-90's. A freaky and hauntingly beautiful piece of art, this song had become one of my favorites.

  • that chord is A minor i think

i was playing it for awhile to be funny!

the process was a cult with alot of Bible and aleister Crowley stuff

it's the church of satan folks now

    blah

anyone know if robert Degrimston was a child of missionaries or a former christian? he writes that way in the Process material

    as it is

  • one of my favorite SP albums of all time!

  • is this an official video?

  • I think its a backing video for their tour..

  • this song cuts right to the f*cking core... I've been listening to this song for more than ten years now and it still sends chills down my spine!

  • Its the Four Horns of the Apocalypse from The Process Church of the Final Judgment

  • that is very sad news in my minds view

  • sum is a victim of media spawned hate crime,

you could look at the fact that an 8 is near the u of a keyboard.

yet they have crossed lines as a group of musicians and they targeted me because of the fact that I am of a group of the oldest las vegas residents and my last name had a rhymefull tuning of thought in his minds view

  • The last good album together as one.

  • One of there more obscure albums.......

Limited press-print in its time. Its been years since ive heard these songs, still awesome to this day.

  • DOGS MIGHT TURN WITH NO VALUES

  • 1:31 That big cutout he's holding, what is it. Can someone tell me what it means/symbolises or at least what it is called? I saw a tatoo of it on Ogres arm.

  • the symbol stands for unifacation. it is an inverted swatzika.

  • Hey thanks, thats really cool. Someone else told me it was the symbol used in the church of the process (which I looked up on wikipedia and realised it was) but I think both are true.

  • Actually, there were two swastikas in ancient pagan beliefs.

One was for the progress, kindness, life, movement, day, the other was for degradation, evil, death, idleness, dark.

    We should recognize them.

  • This song best listened to in a 90s yellow sony waterproof casette player, just like in the good old days.

  • Comment removed

  • In respnse to Karmaneoeric's Post, HA HA HA HA I can't believe you wrote THAT!! That's exactly how I used to listen to it!!! Awesome sound!!

  • Does this song on the cd skip for anyone else?

  • Rudi findets richtig Hamma!!!!

    All here fuckin KIDS ;))

  • this is my fav puppy song ... next to sore in a masterpeice

  • i love that song sore in a masterpiece thx for reminding me been awhile since ive heard it

  • what was in the best of news?

  • I became the hokage of Konoha.

  • Beautiful song. Skinny Puppy rocks!

  • Could anyone here listen to this song and honestly figure that a man with a last name of Sum may have fallen victim to strange violent crimes? If so send me a note.I have fallen victim to strange crimes.

  • I don't know ...

  • @sane222 what?

  • is it the official video ?

  • one of the best song in the world.

  • For me: Best Band ever...

  • Infact the disease has been fairly common in cats and green monkeys for thousands of years. So yeah the scientists who took aids and made it strong enough to cause the damage it can do were the typical 20 year olds who feel intellectualy superior enough to hurt people. What they did was just as revolting as what Hitler did.

  • Due to the immune deficiency. AIDS was not used against Hebrew people, but a small group of intellectual leftists who believed in population control (whom the us government was ignorant of what they were doing, they thought they were trying to find a cure for syphilis). So its a case of the far right not knowing what the faaar left is doing. The fact that it spread so fast amongst homosexuals is the only reason the right wing did not seem to flinch once most of them found out.

  • @evildnalor the us government, are never ignorant of evil actions. Just check Zbigniew Brzezinsky.

  • Actualy AIDS was around along time, it was easily cured by common methods. Babies would often get it in low income communities. This is proven because when we get aids the php (no not pretext hyper processor) in our stomach that is normaly harmless bacteria causes us stomach cramps because they have less tolerance to it.

  • i love this band.

  • i dont get how this bands like natzi orintated ( i was writing as i listened to this so couldnt see the vid) some dude sent me the vid, they are quite cool this band, even if im more old school when it comes to music.

  • that symbol represents, if i remember right,

    lucifer,jehova,christ,satan

  • This is the symbol of the Process Church.

  • the symbol is the process symbol, not a nazi symbol, wikipedia the process, itll explain

  • Great song

  • I havent read through all the comments, but just out of curiosity, why did this get cut off short? Left out the best part of the music.

  • Wrong. The original swastika goes clockwise.Hitler inverted it to, as discoveryart posted, destruct, and then turned it 45 degrees ccw so its effects didn't turn on him, but to the others. If you look for some ancient oriental tomb pictures you'll see "vertical" clockwise rotating swastikas, the Nazi swastika is the "diagonal" counter clockwise rotating one.

  • actually, the jews were given free health care in 3d reich for the AIDS that American mongrels brought to europe in ww one. Jews refused welfare due to honor, no amount of free medical care was able to stop the spread of aids in the Jewish Communities -America Targeted German Jews with Biological warfare in World War one- Giant Cover up. Hitler was pissed 'my Jews are sick!!!!' blamed american Freemasons 'who -pretend to be jewish in secret' word to the wise.

  • Wow,that is an amazing rant. Nonsense... if you were trying to be funny, good job.

  • Comment removed

  • last time i checked both versions of the swastika were present long before hitler

  • @theonewhofailed you are right -everyone else look it up.

  • @theonewhofailed it's not a Swastika it's a Process Cross that is made of Four letter "P"s

  • @theonewhofailed YES, yes they were, and they're meaning was the TREE OF LIFE, Brothers and Sisters , notheing rel9igious whatsoever. good pathways with your LIFE, LIVES SK IMMOROTALS

  • @theonewhofailed correct. it was a hindu symbol of peace, if i remember correctly. y the nazi a**holes used it, i do not know.

  • cud u upload the words into the description pls? this is a newer song that i am not familiar w. thx

  • @mrsgoatlady77 Newer, huh? I guess time is relative. Newer than the older stuff yes, but this song was published in 1996 or so.

  • You're very right about the inversion of the swastika's meaning. But that inversion is not merely figurative; it's physical. The Nazi swastika goes clockwise, and the original Indian swastika goes counterclockwise. So, ultimately, the perversion is even deeper.

  • the word swastika was taken from sanskrit,,,, su- meaning good or well,,, asti- meaning to be and ka- meaning beneficial,,,, a left facing swastika has been in well use in the ancient days of buddhism, and hinduism.

the nazis took it in as an "aryan" sign,,,, ironicaly a people known as the aryans lived in the ancient days of india, dark skinned and all,,, so nazism is a philosophy of pure lies and ignorance i believe. let it never happen again.

  • the nazis believed that the germanic races came from Iran. Our religions (àsatrú and hinduism)are related too, so I guess it's right. The swastika has also been found on old objects from the time before christianity. I've read that the clockwise symbol meant Odin (creation) and the not clockwise (sorry for poor english) meant Thor(preservation). They came from the sun-cross, an important symbol in the ancient religion.

  • In the secound sentence I'm talking about old things from Northern Europe

  • yeah your right,,, when i was very young my father told me about a suncross.

it was widely used in india and many other asian countries.

  • The Nazi has stolen the swastika and turn it over, because the swastika mean in a sense: construction, and the Nazi, by putting it in the other sense, have decided: it means destruction.

I read in english the text of "candle", but I don't understand any sentence, to much hidden sense to me!

  • I think people might get the wrong idea with the swaztika thing. My friend thought they were canadian-stoner-nazi's. All but the nazi part. I'm pretty sure they mean it in the 'peace sign' way, the way it was ment before the nazis turned it around... Then again I could be wrong, if I am, inform me.

  • They are not nazi's, nor is that a swaztika, that's the Process symbol. Implied not so much as in the Process album, but as in the Process Church. Ogre has the symbol tattooed by his wrist I believe.

  • I already got a few messages with enlightening info. But thank you too. I learned a shitload about them so far.

  • they are far from being nazis

  • alguien sabe de que disco es esta rola

  • @planetfunk69 si "rola" significa cancion o tema, es del disco llamado The Process

  • Ogre singing like this sounds more like poetry with a musical background than anything really.

  • Kind of pretty and mellow compared to their other stuff... I like it!

  • For the Process Church.

  • It has nothing to do with the process church itself..

  • Wow... it's rare to hear Ogre sing like that.

    Sweet!

  • KIX ASS!!!THATS WHAT!

  • this song is one of the bests ive ever heard!skinny puppy rules!

  • é memo?

  • fuckin great song

  • this song...

  • this song what?

  • what?

  • what about the song you said this song... what about this song! your confusing me.

  • sei lá, nem falo inglês aff

  • what! im soo confused!! please explain!

  • i dont speak english

    ?/?? é

  • One of Skinny's best. I'm a fan for 20 years.

  • There never was enough vocal distortion in this one imo =/

  • reminds me of kaspell

  • i disagree. although the album had to be redone hastily i quite enjoy ogre's normal non voxxed singing,

it was a definate welcome change at the time, i really liked it, also one of their mellower songs to boot

    electronics wise at least

  • Gawd I love this song and I'm goinjg to see them on

     mondays in Tivoli Utrecht :D

  • Oh yeah, and there's some clips from "Curcible" in there too.

    HUMANITY IS THE DEVIL

  • big fan and friend to skinny puppy for 6 years Ogre helped my band to be heard, ya all check out my tunes if ya like its my electronica crap cuz none of our new shit will work on there myspace . c o m / grotest (with no spaces)

  • dwayne- we miss your work

  • This is a cool video and an awaome song.

  • fuck the nay-sayers.. Process is a great cd.. as is Too Dark Park and Rabies

  • Great track.

  • The Process Cult's proper name was the "Church of the Final Judgment" although they were usually refered to simply as "The Process" or "Processarians." There is a great personal recollection of this small but interesting religious cult in Apocalypse Culture (Ferral House publishing). George Clinton from Parliament/Funkadelic is a noted Processarian.

  • I always thought he'd be methodist... lolzorz

  • It's actually weirder to hear Ogre's voice mostly unprocessed like this, adds the extra touch to an already disturbing song.

  • heartworm666: The symbol is from the church of the Process. It was a movement that viewed the world not as a perfect creation by a god without mistakes, but rather something evolving and improving (The Process).

My favorite SP album. Very emotional and not so overdone with effects.

  • this song is 10 years old. but damn, it's better than most of the shit in the same genre now. oh, those nails are sexy.

  • this actually isn't the video for candle, it was made for curcible i believe and definitely fits that song better than candle. both songs are from the Process cd. the symbol you speak of heart is from the small little cult the same name as the album- so its the process symbol, get it?

  • This footage was used on the "Hardset Head" video...also a track from "The Process."

  • does anyone recognize the symbol at the beggining ocf the video?

  • Yes, it's the symbolic P for The Process.

  • the process... is in fact my favorite s.p. album

    go shoot me.

  • Personally I don't care for the Process or this song very much, but the video is really cool - thanx for uploading it. My top-five favorite SP albums are: Bites, Last Rights, Too Dark Park, Rabies, Ain't it Dead Yet, VIVISect VI, Mind: The Perpetual Intercourse, Cleanse Fold & Manipulate, ... oops, that's more than five - oh well, they are all cool.

  • first Skinny Pupy song i knew..

    and it's good

  • Go Goth music

  • This is not goth music.

  • this isn't christian music you loser

  • teargirl, sarcasm is YOUR friend.

  • must be yours as well, im sure you can't wait to hear this in church next sunday.

  • lolol

  • Bwahahahahahhaha!

  • Their not bad, but I've heard better, though that's my opinion, so don't get your panties in a knot over it. The vocals aren't singing, its just kind of...talking...

  • skinny puppy is and always has been my favorite band.i started listening to them in the 80's, and i still jam them in my truck all the time.favorite song is worlocked

  • Skinny Puppy: The best industrial band ever. I forgot how awesome this album is.

  • this video is amazing... to think of how they pieced it together!

  • I'd like to know on which album the song is on! can anybody tell me???

  • the process

  • That song is from the process it is one of my favorite Skinny Puppy albums, followed by To Dark Park and the first album Remission. You'll find through each Skinny Puppy album these guys shifted their style, yet in my opinion still stayed true to their vision ^___^ Even if they did I would still like them regardless.

  • The Process

  • It's on The Process.

  • The Process... their last studio album... release 98 I think

  • Candle is on the process. It was the last album Skinny Puppy made before Dewayne died(RIP). A lot of SP fans dont like the process, because they think that SP was going mainstream. Dont listen to them and go buy it. I too like the earlier stuff better, but that doesnt mean the process is bad. I still think it is a awsome Cd. It is worth buying for the song Amnesia alone.
