A very sophisticated army (Israel) fighting a bunch of freedom fighters with RKs, and home made rockets (Hamas). Every move in this war was planned by Israel, and was supported by some Western and Arab countries. The Egyptians government does not want Hamas to be in control in Gaza as much as Israel does not want it, and simply because the Egyptians government does not want Iran to have influence near its border.

The bottom line is that the Arab leaders and most of the Arab people in the Arab world abandoned their brothers and sisters in Gaza. Some went to the streets and shouted and screamed their lungs out to get beaten by their own government police and army. The world went angry, people all over the world marched and demanded an end to this unjustified war by an army that is considered to be 4th or 6th in power (Thanks to America & some European countries for that) world wide.
