we live in a tropical country, we get more sun that's why the color of our skin is a protection itself against skin cancer. i used to use whitening products when i was younger but then i worry the sun would kill me whenever i go out in the sun and commute so stopped it. now, i'm taking glutathione capsules only once a day for the antioxidants in it.

tl;dr let's not be obsessive with whitening our skin, use only what you need in real life.

Hah they're being scammed. I'm a Pharmacist and I can tell you GSH glutathione is not bioavailable and will not whiten your skin. Better off taking NAC to get glutathione, but it really won't bleach the skin. Vit C prolly would and Glabridin.

I'm just wondering why Kirk Long, an American, who obviously has white skin acquired from the genes is starring in a commercial promoting pills that one should drink in order to make one's skin white. It is a bit ironic because he apparently does not need to take in Active White L-Glutathionine in order to have white skin. Same goes for Chris Tiu who is Chinese yet he might get away with it since he might be half-Chinese. The bottom line is both endorsers are naturally-born with white skin.

@Cyndane inhibitign Melanin? This sounds scary to me... I don't want my Melanin blocked, and I have never wanted to be white. I like my skin. Its beautiful...and smooth. We all need to learn to be happy with our skin, and stop trying to be something we're not. I believe many of these products have side affects, but no one wants to admit it.

This is exactly the reason why the Philippines is such a ghetto country. Instead of focusing on what's important (e.g.: infrastructure, education, economy, corruption), Filipinos funnel their time, attention and hard-earned Pesos into efforts to appear more White, European-looking westerners.

@roialties Lol, this isn't a very logical reason. It's only if they have extra money, like westerners or else they'd buy what they need most, food. The Filipino people aren't THAT stupid, seriously. Westerners buy tanning products if they have extra money. Do you think they'd waste all of their money on tanning products?
