My husband made me one to it's be at of a deep freeze it holds 4 egg turners! Thank you for sharing. This will help alot of people save money and still be able to hatch there eggs!
This was tested using a few different wattages to see which would work best. The one you will want to use depends on how large your container is, how good your insulation is, what type of thermostat you are using and the temperature of the room where your incubator will be kept.
and also if I decide to put a mini humidifier in my cabinet incubater and i decide to use a hygrostat thermostat, will the installation be the same as urs with the thermostat by using ?? Thanxx
Great Video mann .. Very educative .. I have a quick question
Lets say I am using a much bigger cooler or I decide to use one or more sources of heat (light , heater , flex watt) in like a cabinet incubater .. is it posible to attach just 1 thermstat to the multiple heat sources?? And if yes , will it be effective enough to turn all the (light , heater , flex watt) off when the desired tempreature is reached ?? Thanxx
The fan is used for two purposes. 1.) it helps circulate the air around the thermostat which increases the rate of heat transfer and allows the thermostat to react more quickly to changes in temperature. 2.) it reduces temperature differences in the incubator. Since warm air rises, the top part of the incubator would naturally be warmer than the bottom part. Circulating the air around helps minimize this.
