  • You can tell this is Cali. Gotta love the sun and the views.

  • I'm not a pro and i'm not talking shit, but your buddy needs a few days in a parking lot. He is putting himself and others at danger. I truly think that common sense is half of riding, something you either have or don't have, and i'm not sure he has it. Hopefully it is something he learned if he is still riding. Before ANYBODY gets on a bike they need proper training and it is CLEAR that he never got it. Learn to ride before going out on public roads PLEASE! THAT GOES FOR EVERYBODY.

  • how long did u practice before you took your first bike to the streets?

  • Seriously, I feel bad for the guys that start on 600's cuz they have no idea the fun they're missing out for not starting on a smaller/weaker bike.

  • Do you ride dirtbikes?

  • @MrTurtleman333 nah, not yet anyway

  • 0:01 - this is top gear stick?? :D

  • did you have any experience riding any other bikes like dirt bikes?

  • @shuttashades5 None at all other than my MSF classes i took which is maybe total of 5 hrs of riding

  • you guys got some beautiful roads! i wish it had road like tht in Trinidad!!!!

  • parents bought me a hayabusa (08 with 20k) tried it out for the first time today (coming from a 125cc'er) and its dangerously fast, its actually hard to ride. (lol) but if anyone is starting out on a new bike, go with 250cc for sure, 1300 cc is hard to handle even after 5 years of riding.

  • sweet vid, Im 17 too have had a 125 for a year and am now thinking a 600 might be a large step up because i am used to the 125's power.

  • @Snipikey hi mate, its not the power its the handle thats a big set up!

  • are you filming with the GoPro?

  • ok so is it the one filmings first time riding or the other guy?

  • I am 17 years old and have been riding different things for a while. I started with a vespa scooter that weighed a little over 250lbs when I was 13 years old. I am 6'4 ish and about 200 lbs now would you say a gsxr 600 would be alright for a first bike? Im not to worried about the weight more about the power. how do you like yours so far.

  • @carguyzo6 ya 600 is perfect maybe even a 750 but honestly anything more than 600 is unnecessary unless you ride professional tracks or are willing to pay thousands more for bragging rights haha. I love my bike and i think its the best bike I could have gotten for myself. let me know if you have any more questions

  • @carguyzo6 have you test rode one by chance? I'm 6'3 i felt very uncomfortable on one particularly around the tank/knee area

  • @MasterMyers101 not yet but when I finally do I will take that into consideration.

  • @carguyzo6 no

  • im not a hater, but i think hes not able for that bike,

  • thats a very nice neighborhood, what city you in?

  • Awesome. So, have you taken it off any sweet jumps, yet?

  • You got a 600cc for your first bike??

  • @StreamingKnowledge yup. also if lot of people dont know this you wana get a bike that is proportionate to your size cuz bikes get HEAVY!!!

  • @JohnneyRoyal i got a suzuki gsx 600 old school as my first bike when i was 16! lol

  • hey what kind of helemt you runnong there and does it come in black

  • @HASSON454 its a sinister helmet. but lot of others out there that look just as sick

  • how long have you been riding?

  • the most important question. How scared were you? haha

  • @Quagmire88 i was more scared of dropping the bike more than anything lol. and more excited about the ride

  • @JohnneyRoyal That's cool. we all went through it at one point. Great riding mate! stay safe.

  • Los angeles?

  • @zakipad Yup

  • @JohnneyRoyal i could tell. lol seems like your high up in the hills.

    i love it there :D

  • Damn dude were you shoving a ton of potato chips into your helmet to eat on the way in the beginning or what?

  • @ownyou902 lmfao

  • how much is insurance?

  • @littlechrist1 thats a pritty broad question lol well major factors are location age and driving record i suppose umm i pay $60 a month and im 20 which is really good

  • @JohnneyRoyal

It'll get better, I pay $75 a year and I'm 25, so you got something to look forward to!

  • now thats a very nice bike

  • What Mode were you riding the bike in during the video? Do you think this is a too powerful a bike to start with for a beginner? What if I leave it in Mode C??

  • @AceNinja2112 i ride in street mode which is mode B i believe. 600cc is a good first bike ( the manufacturer depends on you CBR, R6 and GSXR are about the same). if your looking to buy a bike my first advice is decide what and how long you want it for. for me i hear lot of ppl upgrade form 250cc so i figure ill just buy a 600 and keep it for a long time. it was easy to learn and i took the MSF course helped A LOT ! let me know if i can help ya anymore =]

  • @JohnneyRoyal Thanks for the reply! A lot of people discourage newbies from 600s (as they say that they are too powerful and have brakes that are too grippy).... I was just wondering your what your take was as you actually have the motorcycle I was thinking of buying. Mode B cuts power by 20% and Mode C cuts power by 40%

  • @AceNinja2112 ohh well i dont know about that its news to me i know 1 is for street another is for track and another is a mix of both. 600 is a great first bike i think i did stall it a few times tho my first time which is why i highly recommend sliders on your bike after the 3rd day i didnt stall it and i practiced in back streets avoiding traffic. umm i do believe a 1000 is TOO powerful for first time but 600 is just fine might take an extra week to get used to compared to the 250,

  • @AceNinja2112 a 600 is fine...you don't have to use any mode or any of that bullshit...the only thing you need is self control...if you don't have that then you don't need a bike at all....if you get a 250cc, you'll want to upgrade quick and end up wasting time and money so just go w/ a 600...and as for the brakes, they aren't "grippy", they should just be really good and stop quick!! good luck w/ your choice

  • @AceNinja2112 im gonna add my two cents here. i believe inline 4's are too much for beginners unless you have loads of self control and responsibility. i would say start with a 500 or 650 vtwin or parallel twin. sport bikes in general have grippy brakes and as with any bike you need to know it well. second find a bike you are comfortable with, something that scares you but not to a point to where you wont ride it. be smart and ride safe.

  • You seem to have a lot of "optional" stop signs around there...

  • nice bike man!!!! I love riding .. i have 05 gsxr 600!

  • Where are the other cars? You are compleatly alone on road!

  • @MrErasmie haha i never noticed that It was in the backstreets near my house coincidence i guess

  • @JohnneyRoyal Okok, Nice bike u got : )

  • 1st ride and he ignored a stop sign xD but awesome skills you got :p

  • cali? very awesome ride mate! beautiful riding conditions.

  • lmao great vid but stop fuckin the cam in the beggining!!!! hahaha 5/5
