People in New Brunswick generally get along. I`m bilinguel, because I have family on both sides of the isle, and people like this try to separate us into units, french against english, just because he wasn`t open enough to be able to learn the two, or chose not to out of racism. As the years go by it is only getting better, and more people are becoming bilinguel or trilinguel. It never hurts to expand your vocabulary. GOD BLESS NEW BRUNSWICK, for it`s efforts ot preserve our culture. L`ACADIE
You know jimmy has a few good points charles. I left NB back in 1987 for Ontario because there were no jobs. Most of the people I went to school with left too (graduated 1982 Moncton High School) I went back a few times over the last 23 years. What I have witnessed the last few times I went back to Moncton was pretty sad. Everything went from 1/2 english & 1/2 french to pretty well all french.
Cant get a job unless you have a french name nowdays. Its gotten outta whack don't you think?
@hfxmagdude the English in New Brunswick were TRADITIONALLY xenophobic... thankfully, things changed. I remember a person requesting a new room in a hospital in Saint-John, because she had discovered that her room-mate was a french (acadian) speaker. Can you imagine that ?
Didn't hear any solid arguments or constructive comments by Charles LeBlanc, he came across as argumentative and petty. It's sad.

Kudos to you Jimmy Webb!
You tell it like it is.
Charles Leblanc doesn't know this but he is a real asset to us Anglophones by following The Anglo Society around and showing people his true colors.
