@1969626 They have been known to dig into the soil to a depth of up to a foot but only in very rare cases. They normally just remove the topsoil/road surfaces, etc.

if a skinny model were standing where they were theyd be sucked in. i think its hilarious everyone is trying to capture the even on video. one two or three cameras would have been fine. should of just took it in and not care so much about youtube. sight to behold

@smilejemm You make a good point! If I had a second chance at this I probably would worry less about camerawork and stand in awe instead. Having said that, the excitement at the time takes over, alnd it's for my own personal record that makes me want to film these things, rather than primarily for sharing on Youtube :-)
