  • the position is the same... the only difference is that you can't see the first steps... more comfortable? i don't think so

  • from Jose' the hermeterec......which Bach prelude is this? It sure sounds familiar but I cannot remember which it is.

  • Beautiful. And I love the increased range of this guitar.

  • way to go redmond long way since 1989 dude you truly are a master in your class keep it up and best wishes ,coughlan

  • Funny way to introduce the video! If he's "the first in the world to adopt Paul Galbraith's way of sitting", doesn't this make him the SECOND in the world, after Paul?

  • No, he is the first person that has ADOPTED Paul Galbraith's technique of playing. Paul Galbraith didn't have to adopt anything because he invented the technique. Inventing isn't the same as adopting.

  • Amazing!

  • wao que interpretación quede muy impactado

  • Amazing

  • This is a good performance. Your Uncle's hard work is also quite evident.

Last night, I fell asleep to Paul Galbraith's Bach lute suites playing on repeat. Some interesting dreams! Anyway, as I awoke, I wondered if I could find any video of him, since I've yet to witness the man play in person. Alas, I have seen nothing so far.(If anyone knows where to find Galbraith on video, please email me here on youtube.)

  • Paul Galbraith is now playing Albeniz on Youtube.

There is also an interview with him about the 'Tornados' on another Youtube video.

  • I saw Redmond play today. What an amazing preformance.

  • Wonderful performance and tone. I've had the pleasure of seeing Paul Galbraith, and I am very impressed with your adaptation of his technique; not because you have copied his, but because you have made it yours.

  • Brilliant performance

  • Brilliant interpretation, and the look of the video itself is outstanding.

    5 stars all the way.

  • No creo que la guitarra clásica tenga que evolucionar necesariamente hacia este tipo de técnica. Creo que ambas pueden convivir en el futuro. Enhorabuena desde España, Redmond. Magnífica interpretación.

  • Nice, nice, nice!!!

Someday I'll play a Brahmsguitar too.

  • Very nice! You have come a long way. I am extremely fond of Paul Galbraith's playing and approach and applaud you for adopting the approach. In my view it is the next evolution of the guitar. I have two Brahms guitars myself, made by Woodhouse. I love them.

  • this is masterful and superbly interpreted, musical in any aspect !

  • Excellent!

  • Beautiful playing! That position looks really comfortable. I want a guitar like that! It just dawned on me that there would be less tension in both arms like that.
