I don't claim that any noise artist has talent, although there is a certain amount of practice that can be put into making interesting noise. Not always the same talent involved in music of course. Besides, I love it that they can get together and make a racket and get a little out of it. I don't claim to be more "refined" or any shit like that by listening to noise. If anything it is in protest to those who take music too seriously.

I used to work at Analog Shock (in Rochester, NY). It was the greatest store ever! We had incredible shows there. I don't actually remember seeing this show, but I've seen Wolf Eyes several times since. They are my all-time favorite noise band.

for all the naysayers, it's not as easy as you may think to produce GOOD noise music. A lot of people try, but not a lot succeed, as I can attest to from watching many noise bands. That said, this video is really fuckin' amazing. The death groove was so hot. I wish they had built that second part a little more, but top notch shit nonetheless.
