@michael32768 In the military we have what's called Tricare. It's our healthcare program. All active duty members and their families are entitled to Tricare. Tricare is free. 1.4 million people serve active duty. I have had surgery done, received many different medications and even needed a hearing aid and was able to get a high tech one, ALL for free. I'm grateful. 1.4 million active duty members PLUS family dependents receive free healthcare; What you would consider Socialized medicine.

I've discovered and fact checked that the U.S. General Accounting Office and the Congressional Budget Office show that single-payer universal health care would SAVE $100 to $200 billion dollars per year while covering every currently uninsured American and increasing health care benefits to those already insured. It's math. Can't argue numbers.
@kcolado There are not enough doctors in the US now. It's difficult for people to get in to see a doctor now. In theory free health care for every person in the US sounds great . And to think you have a right to free health care sounds ok but when you think of all of the people around the world who are impoverished and don't even have running water and will never see a doctor their whole life.

My husband serves in the military and both of my grandfathers fought in WWII in the Philippines and one of them also fought in the Korean War. My father also served in the US Marine Corps. @michael32768 In the military we have what's called Tricare. It's our healthcare program. All active duty members and their families are entitled to Tricare. Tricare is free. 1.4 million people serve active duty. I have had surgery done, received many different medications and even needed a hearing aid and was able to get a high tech one, ALL for free. I'm grateful. 1.4 million active duty members PLUS family dependents receive free healthcare; What you would consider Socialized medicine.

I've discovered and fact checked that the U.S. General Accounting Office and the Congressional Budget Office show that single-payer universal health care would SAVE $100 to $200 billion dollars per year while covering every currently uninsured American and increasing health care benefits to those already insured. It's math. Can't argue numbers.

And to think you have a right to free health care sounds ok but when you think of all of the people around the world who are impoverished and don't even have running water and will never see a doctor their whole life.

It is because there’s too little countervailing power in the markets for health insurance and health services. Insurers, pharmaceutical companies, device manufacturers, doctors and hospitals are all able to drive up prices with limited pushback. Insurers have virtual monopoly power in many markets. Without serious competition for their business, they often have little incentive to contain costs.

Just simply pointing out that we do NOT have the best health care system. What we have now is simply not working. Costs are 3 times the amount PER CAPITA than any other industrialized nation, shortage of doctors and staff, insurance companies finding ways to get out of paying for certain procedures, etc. It's out of control.

If you do solid research on any of his video's, you will find that all the dates, qoutes etc have beed edited to suport his views and opinions (not facts). Such as in his capitalism movie, he said that 1950's success was due to greety capitalists but in fact it was due to the rush of ww2 men coming home, starting families and getting college educations (gi bill), and women's new role in the house. i wish glenn beck and MM would fight, stab each other and each die from bleeding to death
