  • creepyass dude at 4:00 dat eye

  • @thatzombieplace it depend on which side we are siding... you have said your piece and i have said mine...i am still in favour of hang this person for drug offences. And don't bother to reply.

  • @thatzombieplace you have said your piece and i have said mine. like i said, i am in favor of hanging this person. this has nothing to do with disgrace singaporeans. unless, you are the one.

  • Firstly, malaysian should understand the rule and regulation of singapore before they even enter the country because the immigration card of singapore it is clearly stated that drug offenders wiil be sentenced to death. So, singapore is doing a right thing if they do it to a person who has already been warned at the immigration of singapore and wants to still take a risk of bringing in drugs again. then it is seriously a mistake of the accused person. therefore i support the singapore government

  • this case still ongoing ar?

  • I support the High Court Judges decision to sentence him to death. Now, he is caught and some people say give him second chance, what if he managed to escaped? how many people will suffer? Let us not be too emotional, be rational. If a person choose to go against the law, then he or she got to prepare to face the music. Please look at history how the people during the QING Dynasty got addicted to opium (drug) and suffered!!!

  • @chuaenghua Your stupidity deserves more than 1 reply. I wish unlearned people like yourself would stop using words like "rationality". Foucault defines rationality as a set of rules to maintain power structures - ie arbitrary.

    -

Let me simplify this for your unevolved mind: It is "rational" to stone an adulteress to death in Iran; or to hang gay men. It is "rational" accordg to you, to hang a 19yr old boy for drugs. You cannot exchange the 2 "rational"; ie they are arbitrary.

  • @2011Decision you habe said your piece and i have said mine. if you feel drug offender should be giving a chance, so be it. like i have said, i am in favor of hanging this person

  • @chuaenghua im sorry i dont know what you are talking about. all i said was the guy had a weird eye. let them hang the guy but that dude had a weird eye!

  • How can Malaysian govt. try to save Yong? The Malaysian govt. is the same as Singapore when it comes to punishing traffickers and have mercilessly hanged countless drug traffickers.

  • In June 2009, an arrest warrant was issued for Manikavasagam after he allegedly refused to respond to a subpoena to testify to an inquest into the death of an actress.[7] Manikavasagam applied to have the warrant set aside,[8] and eventually testified at the inquest.[9] Less than two weeks later, Manikavasagam was arrested over an unrelated public demonstration.[10]... Pot calling the kettle black... LOL

  • Yea, When your son starts taking drugs, beating you (parents) for money to buy drugs, being inside out of prison, plenty of times, then come back and say that.

  • FUCK SINGAPORE

  • @andrewloveandrew thank you in the meanwhile dun kill urself over it...we get stronger with more criticisms n condemnation

  • @andrewloveandrew FUCK MALAYSIA! GO CLEAN YOUR COUNTRY FIRST!

  • @MrPolice1980 he's from singapore you dipshit

  • why double standard, malaysia too have been hanging so many criminals too, so the outcome is lesser criminals around . Singapore & malaysia government had done a good job to reduce crime by hanging the criminal, they definately deserve it. CRIME PAY!

  • Singapore has double standards , if ang moh than they (law) will somehow reduce the drug content quoting impurities etc

  • so when is his hang date?

  • so wat happen yong?wat happen to the case?

  • @rajinirulez

Singapore’s highest court rejected his final appeal 4 month ago. His last chance of survival are a clemency plea to Singapore’s president and Malaysias Parliament, although it rather unlikely to make a difference. He can go trough the trap door any day now. Oh, well (shrug)

  • Bunch of idiots..how can you resolve anything by threatening the Singapore Government? Whu the &*#@ do these 2 mamas and minah think they are?Theay are not even bothered by the USA in the Michael Fay case, let alone these 3 idiots...

  • they are just scared of losing face...

  • oh shut up you bunch of hooligan monkeys... every country has their own way of ruling. if our country runned like yours, there will be utter corruption! AND if a drug trafficker dies, the whole world is safer you morons... you guys are just putting yourself in the spot by threatening BOTH governments. hope you all get arrested dumb dumbs...

  • hang him few more times to show the world that drugs is no play play in singapore. Fly to singapore with drugs , singapore government will buy you a one way ticket to HELL! got it criminals? As for these bunch of people , dont act like an angel as infact you are acting like a advocate for the devils

  • all the drama kings and queens....they did that for political gain a small MP trying to be hero..btw a box of chocolate,a pencil box but never a heard of coffin BOX..lol

  • if the people here who r saying that Yong deserves it,u really have no decency and arent any different from people who take sides.....he was innocent in the first place....i understand what it feels like to have grown up badly....after reading up all about what happened to this young chinese fella....i almost cried because i cant imagine how he could pull through suffering almost throughout his life that badly.....

  • our laws won't change, sorry no matter of what circumstances he was in. pity he's childhood but this matter the whole Singapore. i felt sorry for him :(

  • if u dun wan to die den dun bring drug in singapore la.. fuck off la..

  • is it some sort of threating....reali mad about these humans out tere talking rubbish.....

  • i don't get it...bring the coffin here do what sai? lol

  • The police in Malaysia always stops Singapore registered cars and ask for "coffee" money. why do they always ask us for bribes?why why why? i don't understand. It's like they blatantly want to cheat our money and threaten to bring us to the police station and hold us for nothing. nothing will ever been done. u know why? because it's Malaysia.

  • @trandify they dont ask for bribes unless u have done something wrong, a little bit of wrong would suffice for a bribery to occur, one would say this is unfair but people rather bribe the police

  • and the 2nd lawyer,of course the singapore can prosecute their own people, what is him fusing about?and when pardon is deny the legal process is stopped? this makes no freaking sense, msia government aint helping is the msia govt faulth? msia government has no jurisdiction to crimes which take place outside of its country, what do u expect the msia government to do? i doubt these lawyers are qualified for the CLP, perhaps they came out from public universities which dont require CLP to practice

  • I'm so happy seeing how many dislikes this video has, to pardon Vui Kong, it is as hard as abolishing death penalty, imagine how law applies differently to the same people and also, Fadiah, apparently the lawyer in this video, has no legal sense, there is no human rights to be pardoned god damn it, not any part of the world. And Kapar MP just doing his own thing, politician style, talk as loud as possible, seeking for imbecile people to vote for him

  • To the ppl involved in the video..

Dun talk so much.. Settle the 3 mexican brothers you're hanging first before crapping so much and making a fool of yourself..

  • I support the High Court Judges decision to sentence him to death. Now, he is caught and some people give him second chance, what if he managed to escaped? how many people will suffer? Let us not be too emotion, be rational. If a person choose to go against the law, then he or she got to face the music. Please look at history how the people during the QING Dynasty got addicted and suffered!!!

  • the drug trafficker came from the same home town as i do but i dont think he should be pardoned

  • @pepsi89 yes, at least you are rational, unfortunately, some people are making use of religion and human right to achieve their objective, which I think is unwarranted and also dangerous. If we enter a foreign country, please obey and respect the law, otherwise, don't go.

  • @chuaenghua Like myself, you're a Singaporean following this story. Unlike myself, you're a Singaporean on the side of the noose. You obviously have little capacity for critical thinking when you talk about law - it's absolute & rightful nature a priori.

    -

Everything the Nazi had done was legal, in every sense of the word.

    Same for the Khmer Rouge.

    Slavery was legal.

    Tiananmen was legal.

    -

    I hope you'd just shutup! It's a preciously young life of 19. You're a disgrace to Singaporeans.

  • to make ur arguement hold more weight, do stop acting like a gangster, and say things like "I WARN".. he did something wrong, and he knows it. breaking the law when u noe it deserves no second chance.

  • Very hard to bring coffin to sg , must get permit :(

  • Like who cares~

He'll probably be Taxed by sg Custom Officers for Coffin Import~

  • Drug trafficking is profitable for both the drug cartels and corrupt law enforcement. Corrupt law enforcement says to the drug cartel, "you pay us lots of money and throw us a drug mule now and then to hang to give credibility to our lie that we're serious about fighting drugs, and we will we let you stay in operation." The cooperation of government and organized crime has been the same for thousands of years.

  • he needs to be punished, but not to be killed.

  • Google- Singapore-Burmese drug connection:

  • @matjagger You seem to be the only person I've ever come across online who knows of the SIngapore-Burmese drug connection. Kudos! ;-)

  • What i don't understand is, why punish the lil guys??C, this is what I'm confused abt msian n singaporean government. Y not go all out and catch the big guys, the real mafias n triads , that hire these small fishes to do the dirty work for them? There is something amiss abt this. Don't u think?

These mafias will continue to prey on naive ppl like vui kong n of course, all u commentators 'safety' is still in jeapordy. Drugs will still flow.think abt it.

  • I know every1 here who hv an ounce of humanity in them would not say,"he knows what he's doing, so he get what he deserves". Bullshit! If it was your own brother, son or husband, what would you do?Would u look at his face n say u deserve it?? If ur answer is yes, ur a big fat liar

N...He doesn't really comprehend the implication on what he is doing considering his lack of education n obviously maturity.

  • Simple, if you don't want to get hanged, don't smuggle drugs into singapore. This guy who 'warns' the singapore government is a dumbass, you threaten that you'll bring a coffin then expect them to go easy? If you really want to talk respect and value of life, then hang that feller who brought in drugs, because he obviously didn't value his life or others by selling harmful substance. They better be careful, they might go to jail for being a public nuisance. Bunch of dumbass, get a life.

  • @kimmiannc

Finallly someone gets it! I CANNOT understand why people keep labelling the drug users as ''Suffering'' and ''Victim" Why only blame the drug trafficker???????????????? Such a SIMPLE logic of demand = supply yet people can't understand. The drug user can only blame HIMSELF for choosing to pertake drugs NOT blame tne drug trafficker for ruining his life, his family, dammit just blame HIMSELF!

  • @mike81ish

sorry the above post meant as reply to dakidz

  • You didn't blame the bartender for deciding to get hook on booze, so why blame the traffickers if you decide to get hook on pot? The fact that Singaporeans in general still couldn't get it, proves that they just couldn't think critically which is why the society fails in creativity, democracy, critical thinking and morality.

"If we pardon a trafficker from the death penalty , thousands of lives will be ruined!" Give me a fucking break!

  • @dakidz

Dakidz, Finallly someone smart like you gets it and thinks straight!

  • My heart seriously go to VK. I pray that Justice must be Done including the possibility of VK given a second chance at life. But I hope Malaysians will handle this issue rationally. Burning flags or riots would not should the problems. Our Vote Does.

So to unjust government, people of the world... VOTE THEM OUT!

  • Justice must be done for VK but how about other Malaysians in Malaysia? Have Malaysians themselves experienced Justice within their own backyard?

Until such time, Malaysia seriously have no moral authority to fight for VK. Singapore must see to it that Justice and Law must be meted out. If VK was wrong them there must be repeal BUT Singapore cannot be cowed by such demands.

  • I am deeply touched by PKR efforts to fight for VK's freedom. Justice must be and seen to be done.

However, it would be good too that PKR look at its own backyard.

  • So, you're threatening the Singapore Government? Bringing a coffin in front of the Singapore High Commission? Coming in with a bigger group? Drug offence is really serious, it concerns the safety of others. How can you save that one life and then the World if that is a drug offence? Malaysia is also carrying out execution rules anyway.

  • @misswenonly threatening the Singapore Government is wrong..

but hope to give life a 2nd chance... just a small boy...

  • @binhao86 As what you've said, threatening the Singapore Government is wrong, yet lawyers and MPs from Malaysia are doing that. How do they expect Yong to be released with this kind of comments they made? Just my thoughts, no hard feelings

  • Comment removed

  • i was getting impressed by his arguments, till he said Ayam Kambing Beg

  • who are these malaysia clowns why are they not protest against the malaysian government, which also pratice hanging....

the indonesian are burning their malaysia flat and faeces were thrown at their embassy...and the malaysian did nothing about...no goli....

  • @hankc8888 They're all actors and actress. they have guts to protest against Singapore, but not Malaysia and Indonesia.... Now, they quiet on this issue......

  • this is a human life. no one have the right to put him on death sentenced!

  • Nice one S Manikavasagam! I like what u had said!

  • Comment removed

  • Masuk kandang kambing mengembek, masuk kandang kerbau menguak.

    I rest my case.

  • Fine spareYong cos he is only 19. Next time another trafficker under 21, also spare. Then one with poor family background, we also spare. Then one has aged parents and young kids, we all spare. Everyone can spare, just spare.. All in the name of human rights.

Next time if you or your family get robbed, raped, killed, theft, leg chopped by drug abuser... Don't complain!!!

  • @eEconomist2002 you are so right, they have no idea what they are getting themselves into, by asking for clemency for a drug trafficker, more lives and family would be harm if that one drug trafficker is set free. Because, it would be a sign to all drug traffickers that if they use an underage trafficker or just simply protest in from of the high commission, the Singapore government will just let them go.

  • Omg did a M'sian just call OUR police corrupt? That's HILARIOUS!

  • sghunk1976: Agree with your statement. Those clowns don't know what are they talking about human rights. That's mean if drug traffickers are caught in Malaysia, they can also spare their lives if protesting to Malaysia Government.

  • @3006kiki I disagree with his statement. Human rights are human rights, maybe you lack compassion or enough reason to go and read up about this case.

  • @freesingapore you're talking human rights to drug trafficker? All Malaysians know drug trafficker will get death sentence if get caught. if PKR fight for Yon, why not fight for those Sawarakans who got death sentence for killing a foreign labor in Singapore. Dont misuse the Human Rights on those who are commited crime....

  • @3006kiki Okay so please go and sue the Singapore Government for dealing and investing with drug barons and suppliers in Burma, for it is clearly an international crime. All Malaysians know? Are you a lawmaker and have you conducted a nationwide survey to know?

  • @freesingapore What for I sue Singapore Government? If you dont have any evidence, do you make any false statement? Watch out your comments

  • @3006kiki People always misuse their privileges of having human rights, having them doesn't mean you use them to get the things you think should be right. They are arguing just based on the violation of human rights. If Yong is released, it would be at the expense of the lives of every single citizen in Singapore. Drug trafficking is very dangerous and harmful to a countries development and the safety of any other people/country would be at risk.

  • @misswenonly You may be correct. However, Singaporeans and Malaysians know drug tracfficking will be hung if caught, some even without trail....Those jokers use this issue to gain their voters. Moreover, Yong has 2 years to appeal when he was 18, but he did not. Why now?

  • The Law is Law... Break it and you pay for it.. What will happen if a Singaporean youth same age as VK gets caught with the same charges as him.. Will the Malaysian Gov give clemency to him/her ?

  • @tomlingevol The Malaysian government appealed to the Government of China to spare a Malaysian woman recently. So you are incorrect.

  • @freesingapore And futhermore the Malaysian Government has a clemency board to look through clemency appeals. The Singapore Government has none, and now it says the President and Courts have no powers whatsoever.

  • Dear Citizens of Malaysia and Singapore, pls kind try to understand it is not because of Yong Vui Kong is a Malaysian, then it is a death penalty to him...It is because the law says so...Be it you are an indians, malay chinese or caucasians from any countries even a Singaporean... You dun have to be so harsh in your words against our government. ..seriously...Malaysia and Singapore has the same penalty of death for trafficking drugs...for all races from all countries. yes or no?Thank u all..=)

  • @sghunk1976 You are incorrect. Singapore has let off Germans and other foriegners before by "magically" reweighing their trafficked drug amounts after being pressured by their governments. Such high profile traffickers have been let off while poor youth like Yong are to hang. Singapore also deals with the big drug bosses from Burma, so perhaps the PAP should be put on trial and death row? Go look for the article: Singapore's Blood Money, hanging drug couriers but investing with their suppliers

  • That woman is alleging that the Singapore Policeman is corrupt. On what basis is she making this allegation? I thought lawyers make statement based on facts and not opinion? Is she really a lawyer? Btw, look which country's national is calling other country's policeman corrupt!

The male lawyer, you said the hanging is illegally? Under what law is illegal? Mafia Law? Is perfectly legal under Singapore and Malaysian law!!

  • @eEconomist2002 Go read the book "Once a jolly hangman" which explains how the policeman is corrupt. You won't find it in Singapore though since the book is banned there, says alot about how much they want to hide doesn't it?

  • Comment removed

  • A bunch of moron talking cock.

  • Comment removed

  • To those best actors and best actrees, please stop acting. Malaysia also has same regulation to hang a drug trafficker. What human rights are you all talking about?

  • @3006kiki Malaysia has the same regulation but they do not hang as many people as Singapore. Singapore has the highest rate of executions per capita in the world! Malaysia's king even pardons a bunch of people on death row during his birthdays and has a committee to look into pardon applications. Singapore will just continue hanging everyone. Read up on your facts otherwise you're the one acting without thinking.

  • @freesingapore Are you a law maker? If not, how would you know Singapore executing high than Malaysia then, You're comparing per capita, but you not comparing the crime rate per capita in Malaysia. All these acting in this video are a joke to us......For you info, I'm a purely born Malaysian, and I feel shame for those statements commented by jokers in the Video....

  • @3006kiki Just search for 'Singapore highest rate of executions in the world' and you can get the information for yourself. Several international news agencies have quoted that, so I don't need to be a lawmaker to know.

And I'm a Singaporean, and I support the statements made by the persons in the video. If all the content in the video is a joke to Malaysians, I wonder why 100,000 Malaysians signed the petition for Yong eh?

  • @freesingapore You say you're Singaporean and condemn your country's strict legislation. I'm sorry for you and your frustration. However, you should appreciate what your government have done. You're all protected with strict legislation. Those people in the video are doing a show. Do you think they will raise the issue again in 3 to 6 months? Trust me. They will not.....So, Keep your mouth shut and be yourself....

  • @freesingapore has it occured to you why some countries excution rate is so low? Think about it!!! Hint: got to do with enforcement....

  • Hello Mr MPs, have you spoken with your constituents who are affected by drug abused and those innocent family members and victims of the drug absuers?

I always thought highly of PR as an alternatively for MP... until I hear you threaten Singapore. Ghooosh...

  • Human right is to cane human for drinking beer in public. Malaysia Boleh.

  • okie, you this few monkey. give me your particulars. I will ask VK to send some of the drugs for your whole family clan to consume. LOLLLll

  • If Vui kong was not caught the amount of drugs he bring in is enough to kill more people!! HUman right my foot!

  • Thank you MPs for taking up this fight.

You have my respect for all but one protest:

The unnecessary challenge of bringing a coffin back to the SG high commission.

    Why?:

    1) It came across like a 1980s style political dramatization that we should be leading people away from in this age.

    2) It reduces the chances of his life being spared because there are those who do not want to look like they will politically kow-tow to a mere verbal threat.

    Just my RM0.02

  • From wiki pedia,

"Both Singapore and Malaysia have mandatory death penalty for certain offences, most notably murder and possession of a certain amount of illegal drugs. (See Capital punishment in Singapore)."

Estimated there are about 169 death sentences in malaysia 2006.

  • Why not save the MANY death sentence prisoners in malaysia first?
