  • old XD nice

  • This shit still goes down when you go to the right shows and the right venues. I grew up in Indy and got to see Sloppy Seconds at yon Emerson Theater often. It was probably smaller than this, but the atmosphere, the same. Ahhh the sloppy new years. LOL whatever the group, try to find a local scene and support it, you will see this more often.

  • its funny that most of the audience will have grown up to be respectable citizens, yet bad religion are still rocking!

  • Does this sound like a certain Led Zeppelin song to anybody?

  • I love this video!!!!!! I want to go to a band without stupid fucking bouncers.

  • This song is perfect!

  • I just can´t stop seeing this vid

  • the main singer looks like judge reinhold when he was in fast times at ridgemont high

  • this version the along the way is the best

  • awesome, tehey are simply the best

  • dope that there is live shit from back in the years!

  • BR wish I knew how to listen to music during this show b/c this has become one of my long time favourites!

  • O yes. that brings back some memories!

    BR for Life!!

  • the final part is epic

  • where is bret and his goofy ass glasses?

  • cant wait to see them this sunday!!

  • They were just comming back to punk by that time... and this version is priceless

  • Wow, I was 3 years old in '84... but I love BR.

  • I wasnt even born :D I adore them (nod)

  • My favorite song of all times. Stuffed my hip up to this song at their Melbourne gig : )

Never to old for the mosh pit !!!

  • This is what Bad Religion is all about. This is one of their best songs. And Greg Graffin was always a fucking badass.

  • graffin with hair my god that's old

  • your right 10forrp the end is the best part they should have done that in the album:(

  • I want that SHOW!

or wait, just them will do just fine 2 XD

so much better then the recoreded version :(

  • american punk rock song:) Br>>>Sex pistols

  • Am I the only way who loves the sped-up part at the end? This is the only time I've ever seen BR do this and I wish they'd do it on tour. Such a good song and the fast ending is so energetic.

  • i like it too faster is better for this song

  • I agree.

  • Totally agree, that fast ending was sick. I've always wanted to hear the song sped up. They should play it this way live more often.

  • best live video on whole youtube

  • Damn straight.

Saw them a few years ago, great bands stay around forever.

  • Thanks for posting this. This song has a lot of personal significance for me.

  • lol back in the day that the mosh pit took place on stage! what I would give to see that again!

  • then make it happen, ya know

  • And them, 3 giant gorillas will punch you till blow your brains off

  • damn, I wish i could see these guys live.

or live in cali in the early 80's...

  • O yeah, it was fucking great back then, skating to the show breaking your neck to the music, god what I would give to re-live those days. I MISS THE HAIR!!!

    Long Live Bad Religion!!

  • yeah, back then they played almost every night, and tickets were only like 5 bucks, and sometimes free depending on the place.

  • Anyone know where I can get an mpg of this song? I like it better than the ep version. That fast part they add at around 1:48 really enhances the song.

  • "this is a new song" ajajja

  • damn. . .i wish i was alive when people could get up on stage during shows.

    especially bad religion.

    they make life worth living.

  • you can still get up on stage during songs

unless you hang out at lame venues with bouncers and stuff

  • This is the greatest fucking band on earth!!!

  • Not so easy for non-nativespeakers to understand it... this is what I got so far. Would be nice if someone could complete it :

  • I refuse to abuse what is kind to the fuse,

But it's there and it's happening to me 'long the way.

As we go through the snow, we cannot forget our foes,

But the dinner's always waiting at the table 'long the way, yeah.

What you see, not for me, isn't what you planned to be,

But you'll have what you wanted in the end along the way.

And we'll cry as we try and our brothers pass us by,

To be strong through the ages of our tears along the way, yeah.

  • -----------MISSING---------------------------------------

And you'll try for the once more in the end along the way

But forget, don't regret, to find love and happiness

Unless you're willing to be strong when you're along the way.

And we'll be dadadee and you will not follow me,

Until we find each other once more on the path along the way.

I refuse to abuse what is kind to the Muse,

It's there and it's happening to me along the way.

What you see, not for me, isn't what you planned to be,

  • But you'll have what you wanted in the end along the way.

And we grow as we show that the morals we must know

Will be shapen and mistaken on the path along the way.

Like Tommy, you are free, and you will not follow me,

Until we find each other once more on the path along the...

  • the lyrics are a little different in this one...anyone know where to find them?

  • listen

  • I think to be honest he forgot the words...Greg just mumbles it seems. And is that Jay playing bass?!

  • that's tim gallegos. you might have also noticed that brett gurewitz is also absent.

  • Holy shit this song played fast is awesome!

  • bad religion was a huge part of my childhood,it s nice to see them when they were practically kids themselves,,thanks youtube,

  • Greg Graffin had hair? Wha-?lol

  • They all had hair,

  • Who wears short shorts?, Mr.Brett wears short shorts....

  • No way, it was Greg Hetson...

  • correction, Mr Brett was in rehab during this show....thus is why hetson joined the band...

  • in the night you see a light

  • the bibas as!

  • Wow! Im speechless...Thanks for the upload! Awesome BR is the best band in the world

  • yeah,that's one of their best songs,however,still i regard 21st Century....the ace

  • i think 21st is one of their bottom, and most overrated

  • ya, but the one on against the grain is better than the stranger than fiction version

  • HA check out hetsons dolphin shorts!! Still one of the top 4 B.R. songs. Thanx to whoever posted this.

  • WHo are the other 4 *iyo*?

  • Hah, they where like 19 here. Great. There's a DVD of this right? I have to get that one.
