@arosmith1967 It's not just Wal-Mart bashing... It's bashing the new "Services" way of life in America. Wal-Mart was arguably the largest single force behind the Made In China movement. Wal-Mart leadership pressured manufacturers to move operations overseas.

@arosmith1967 Actually bashing walmart is right if it wasn't for them driving their suppliers to provide the cheapest items possible, which in turn drove them over seas, which moved the jobs that where in America over seas, American would be stronger as more people would be employed. all be it in low wage jobs but employed. Think of the thousands of jobs that went over seas thanks to Walmart pressure for the cheapest things. Once you got the materials cheap only thing left is labor. Die Walmart

That walmart might be to old and expensive to bring up to code. Maybe they wanted a whole new store at a different location. The one in my old neighorhood did that but the buiding that they tore down only 14 years old they remodel once before then builted a new supercenter up the street a few years later. They tore down the old builing to built a new lowes.I remembered when they first built the old building.

Our Walmart got bought out and renovated into a Hobby Lobby when the SuperCenter was built a block away from it. Interesting to see one torn down!

what a shame to waste a building like that thats whats wrong with society we waste way to much. that store didnt look that old that building could have been preserved and used for something else. I love old buildings its a shame when they get demolished or when there left to set and rot. this pisses me off what a waste of a good building.

my only negative issue with this video is the fact that i saw our usa flag still on it during demo. that was not respectful of our flag. progress is progress but respect for our flag should remain. people should properly dispose of flags and if they do not know how flags are to be disposed of in a flag retirement ceremony. then they should donate it to someone who knows the flag retirement ceremony. do not forget.

most times wal-mart adds on to the side of a store they dont demolish them this store must have been very old and the cost of  adding on would have cost more than building a new store...nice thing about a super center wal-mart stores normaly have 175 to 200 people working for them super centers range around 500 just think they build more wal-mart super centers more people get back to work
