I always noticed that towards the end of Arnold's dream when he grabs Helga, she recites a piece of her poetry, which means Arnold (whether subconsciously or not) knows about her true feelings and probably knows that her poetry is for him. I thought he was encouraging her to embrace those feelings so they could finally be a couple in the dream and in actuality.

Overall, great writing, great characters, great show, and a great decade.

Arnold seems like a really smart, perceptive person, and truth be told, there were a lot of obvious signs indicative of Helga being in love with Arnold, such as her acrostic poem in "Little Pink Book," where the first letters of each verse spelled out "Helga." Even though Arnold didn't finish reading it, he HAD to have seen it.

Also, Helga wandering around at midnight, in her pajamas, on Arnold's fire escape, is a pretty good giveaway too.
