And apart from this, one cannot deny that it is one of the most beautiful spots on this planet. I will definitely come back to Austria to get to know more of this country.

i went to Austria back in March. Salzburg was one of the most beautiful cities I ever saw. I also went to Vienna and then to Prague. If in Salzburg, make sure to visit the salt mines.

When a crime is committed it will nearly always be an immigrant. An African or a Romanian.

Not cheesy, Choppy. Salzburg became my second home in 1991 when I was 21. I went for college classes I failed, but who cares I got to go to Austria! I sure wish I could take my wife and parents. At 8:20 you can see the place I stayed for 5 weeks just below the castle. It was once a place were Nuns lived. I can't remember exactly which of the 3 buildings it was I usually saw it from the ground. (One nasty hill climb up steps carrying luggage after 27 hr flight, and 2-3 hr bus ride from Airport)

haha the nightlife in sbg is very funny - there is the rudolfskai, mostly bars - the nightrow, a huge disco, the gstättengasse, beneath the republic café, thats really cool, then in the linzergasse and around there are pubs and bars - the chiemseegasse there is the "dubliners" and there is the weißbierbrauerei "weiße", the rockhouse and many more!

Apart from the café's at the Rudolfskai, there is also the Rockhaus, where a lot of concerts etc take (or at least used to) place
