i don't follow nascar, but i hear about certain drivers and have saw highlites on t.v. but i don't understand how people say these guys are athletes. there not. athletes to me are people who use their god given physical ability to compete against other humans. nascar,motor cross,x games are games that require machinery. it's a machine thats working no the human. yeah it's takes endurance n stamina but it's a manchine. athletes r versatile they can play more than 1 sport. these r not athletes.

They didn't find anything wrong with this car. Knaus had pushed several things to the edge of their tolerance. The wing was moved over so far that it was withina couple thousanths of an inch of being illegal.There were also other things that were similarly close. But nothing was illegal. They didn't find anything wrong with this car. Knaus had pushed several things to the edge of their tolerance. The wing was moved over so far that it was withina couple thousanths of an inch of being illegal.There were also other things that were similarly close. But nothing was illegal. You should get your facts straight before you post shit like that.

man mark has been so close but something has gotten in his way like in 1990 he had the points lead but got penlized 46 points just enough to make him lose the championship 1994 2nd but that year dale sr was unstopable 1998 he was there but so close and in 2002 lost the championship by 38 points if it wasn't for the black flag for his steering to lock up at talledega he might have won that year and this year if he didn't wreak at talledega he might be closer to jhonson than he is now

jimmie johnson is not cocky at all. i dont understand why people hate him so much. he's a great guy and does a lot for other people. people should hate nascar for jimmie's 3 straight titles, not the 48 team. all hes doin is just driving the race car. and i think johnson deserves the title because he's got one more win the martin, one more top five than martin, and 2 more top tens than martin. but i do want martin to win the chase...next year.

Just an FYI, Gordons got him beat with his four championships that he already has. So, really I dont think I would give him credit for being the best driver in the field yet, but I would say that they have had a better team in the last 4 years. But honestly, I would rather watch Martin win it this year than to see Johnson win 4 in a row.
