First of all, there IS no Dark Knight game. Only Arkham Asylum. Second, they wouldn't be using Heath Ledger's Joker in Arkham Asylum out of respect and the fact that they based it off of the TV Series.

Plus, that's not the way you play in AA. There are no guns in AA so even if you COULD play as the Joker you'd have to use your hands.

Which Batman TV series are you referring to? Game Imformer ran a good article the game around the fall of the 2008 when it was still being worked on.

The cool thing was the developers were not tied down to any previous licensed verision of the characters.That way they could freely pull elements from Batman's backstory to their own thing. This game isn't even related to the Darknight movie franchise or other series.
