They never hated each other. Gary & Nuno are closer, yes. They can read each other. Watch them. That VH1 show, Gary knew for sure Nuno was not going for that reunion for his own personal reasons - nothing to do with how he felt about the rest of the guys. Nuno was just sick of the bullshit, and he wasn't going to be made a labeled puppet again & drag Gary, Pat & Paul into it. Just sayin...

VH1 had a show called bands reunited, Nuno would not even talk to the host about the band getting back together for 1 show.

@premiumgas69: I think a lot of that had to do with how they approached him....ambushing him at a restaurant when he was having lunch with someone...and he said that he would reunite with Extreme on his own terms. He said he didn't want it to turn into a joke...he didn't want to become one of those bands that toured and did greatest hits shows living off the glory days. They had to have chemistry and be able to write and perform new material. Thus Extreme came back to us in 2008. Yea!!!!
