if you exclude the fact that audio files do not even show in the import list(they simply dont exist for premiere) and that movies only imported as audio, this program is awesome, in fact is so awesome that i regreted giving 150 euros to buy a used copy.

After effects is good if you know how to use but unless your doing some really pro complicated work, after effects isnt really nescessary.

I would suggest you get the Adobe CS3 production suite which includes premiere pro and after effects. If you are familiar with editing programs at all, just play about with premiere till your fairly good with it.

Then just learn to use after effects in your own time. If you want some more advice, send me your email via youtube and i'll talk to you on MSN.

Just thought i'd offer my two cents here... You have to learn After Effects, Premier is great for editing but After Effects is what you need for anything to look good. Titles, Graphics... everything other than standard cutting should be done in After Effects... Its awsome software... get it! Have a look at my videos for some demos of what after effects can do.

Like I said in the video description, I made this video in about 20 minutes. I've made much better stuff (short movies, etc.) but I haven't had the time to add any of it yet. I'll get on that ASAP.

Haha... I'm glad that you like my sense of humor! I'm sorry that you can't figure Adobe Premiere out. It's pretty difficult at first, but if you keep trying, learning a few features every day, you'll eventually be a pro. Don't quit trying!

I can't really send you the codec because I'm not sure which one you need. Usually Windows Media Player installs the needed codecs if you try to play the video. Try that, and tell me if it works.

Thanks. Yes, everything was created using Adobe Premiere Pro CS3. I did use some royalty-free source footage, though. But everything else was Adobe.

How can I import MPEG or MP3 files to Adobe Premiere CS3?. Ive had problems with that. Here it says it is not compatible. Please help me. !!!!

From my experience, either your files are corrupted somehow, or you don't have the proper codecs installed on your computer to view the file. One solution that has worked for me in the past is to import your video into Windows Movie Maker, which accepts way more formats that Adobe premiere does, export it out as an AVI, and then import that AVI into Adobe Premiere. I hope this helps!

i've had the prob of vid but no sound on some clips if thats what you mean. youve got be be sure when you create a new project that your output settings are right. ie they need to be compatible with whatever video your editing.
