My boyfriend's birthday is coming up very soon. He is in love with doing this type of thing. Is there any tips on any pre-made kits? Or should I buy separate?

There's so many kits out there you can buy as a start up however, as you can see, most of the stuff that I use all the time are everyday items that are pretty cheap to buy. Kits will often be really expensive and don't come with all the stuff you might need/want. But they do have some great make up kits out there for the basic make up needs....and latex...etc

@tjrmaster hey thanks! Are you talking about the stuff you use for burning on a piece of charcoal? I know here in Toronto there some shops that sell this, as well as everything else you can imagine, in a little chinese herb store in Kensington market. I can't remember the name and every time I go there it's an epic search. I don't know why I can't remember exactly where it is. I've been there enough times! Try searching online too. there are lots of online stores that sell this kind of stuff
if you ever need a stronger plaster for mold making, ultra cal 30 is a beautiful product :D
