This is where it's at! I got the Carmel's DRUM IS EVERYTHING when it first came out in the early 80s and haven't stopped playing it since - amazing, stunning, killer, not a bad song in the song: I wish there were videos for BAD DAY, THE DRUM IS EVERYTHING, TRACKS OF MY TEARS, I THOUGHT I WAS GOING MAD, etc - Carmel's later LPs were fine (esp their second produced by BRIAN ENO!), but their debut longplayer remains one of my favorite LPs of all time! Wish they would regroup and tour the US?!
love this; i think this video was directed by the legendary Derek Jarman; does anyone know if there is anything on video of CARMEL's wonderful Tracks of My Tears?
Wow! I cannot believe how creative this was. How does one define this song? What category? Cannot do it. This is what I loved about the early collaberations of this group! Unique and overlooked. True talent.
True, the energy is amazing, out of this world. That is why theyve never been matched, never been replaced by anything similar or better.Carmel still rules.
..I can share the sentiment......wsir

I think she was responsible for my love of the vintage look on women and my love of vintage sounds. She looks and sounds great in this.

I'm so with you, I'm still playing them even now. I play them to my muso/DJ friends and it's always educational. The epitome of cool.
