This was on the TV last night, It was a VERY excellent movie. VERY scary. Some of the last scenes can be a bit icki' but overall is a very good movie. The music to this trailer dosen't help though. Makes it seem a bit less scary and less good really than it really is. I suggest this movie though. It is excellent. Ending scene is fantastic.

@naturalgayboy20 A Serbian Film maybe. A Serbin Film made me feel really f*cking sick for a few of days... I think it's way more disturbing than mum and dad, but that's just my personal opinion. I guess since ASF has more sexual violence, it's more disturbing for women.

I've heard Martyrs is also pretty disturbing like Mum and Dad, but I haven't seen it yet, so I can't really tell.

@naturalgayboy20 You might want to check out the movie The Hamiltons (part of the Afterdark Horrorfest movies). It is available on region 2. Anyway, it is similar to Mum and Dad in the sense that it is about a really weird, crazy family. Violent, sick stuff happens on the movie but the main focus is on the bizarre, cannabilistic family which I thought was interesting for a horror film to do. (Also, the 1987 vamp flick Near Dark focuses on a weird vamp family.)

It's the most powerful way of shocking its intended audience. And what do you mean "girls arn't meant to be treated like that"? I'm only fifteen and know a loada people who are capable of what those kids did to the couple. This films intentions wasn't to be some cheaply done scary ass film. They had a low budget to make a horror, and in my opinion they did it really well. The effects really get the point across that there are some sick and twisted people in the world, What i like about this film is that it's not just a mindless gorefest. It has a plot, but also dosen't fail to show how disturbing some people really are and that's one of the points the film tries getting across. Even to this day, it's a great film.

Little to no blood, but if you watch them under the right conditions (no lights, surround sound/loud volume) they're really great. If you're looking for a movie that messes with your mind, I strongly reccommend them. The Strangers is good too, as well as Vacancy.
