i just found 2 cute orphan kittens they are so small their mother left them for like 2 days so we decided to take care of them we bought them kitten milk and we asked the vet for advice hope we can save their lifes

Watching this video reminded me of a little kitten that I took care of. We had found her behind a car, shivering and starving. I couldn't stand to see her that way, so I took her in and named her Kasumi (meaning 'mist' in Japanese). She did well for many weeks, and I thought that she would make it out fine. Sadly, she died when she was five weeks old, but I know that she at least got to know what love was. This video is what helped me care for her. Thank you for making it. =')

Only thing I don't agree with is that 8 weeks is to young for a kitten to be spayed or neutered. When I foster kittens I always explain to the new owners of the importance of having their kitten steralized, and warn them of the cost so they can save up. If they tell me they can't afford it, they don't get a kitten from me! Although I'm sure many kittens have been steralized at such a young age, it's a risk I'm not willing to take.

Wonderful work! And thank you for all the advice. I'm currently raising a baby kitten myself. But, how do I avoid him becoming a biter? All my hand-raised babies have become biters. I want Scratchy to be adopted, but I don't feel right about giving out a biter as not everyone will be willing to keep him. None of my biters hardly ever broke skin, but it's still very painful and not pleasant when every petting ends in violence...

i am raising an orphan kitten right now the mom died. She was found at my moms work she is 7 days old 2day. and is doing well!:)
