I rode this ride the year it opened its such a cool ride!

the line however was pretty long which was boring and lots of walking they should add like some interesting queue so people in line won't be bored (unless theyve added something last time I was in epcot was 2007)

and Im so glad they themed Living Seas with Nemo, imo the Living seas was a lil boring and the nemo theme makes it so much funner

So, there are no longer real fish at the aquarium? That is sad. It's to bad that Disneyworld just didn't add this ride and left the old aquarium alone. I guess it is cheaper to have fake fish than real fish: feeding and general maintenance, etc. It is sad though. The old aquarium was one of my favorite rides.

There are real fish. There's still huge tanks with dolphins and manatees and stingrays, etc. This is just one part of the Seas exhibit.

@ztslovebird It was a ride. You were surrounded by fish from the sides and top the entire time. It felt like you were under the ocean. Sharks, turtles, different kinds of fish, etc., would swim over your head as you slowly rode though it all. They also had a walking area.

@Cherri59 There ARE real fish! It's just that they have this at the entrance of the pavilion; if you watch at the end, you can see real fish in the tanks. They also have rescued manatees in the Living Seas pavilion.

This ride was most memorable for me because of the aquarium at the end of it. I love dolphins. They are very beautiful animals. And this ride was the first time I've ever had the pleasure of seeing a real dolphin face-to-face!

both my mom and i were like children with our eyes wide and our mouth half open lol

too bad my mom got scared when it got super dark and those angler fishes popped out lol

This ride made me almost cry to see what they did with it. The Living Seas was a great pavillion. I was looking forward to this-when i went onto it, I was serverly disappointed. I guess they just did this to have a theme for the gift shop so people would go with this. I WANT THE LIVING SEAS BACK-NOW!

Why is everyone thumbing down the people who dislike this ride? I agree, just because Disney is a family park doesn't mean we have to make everything a kiddie ride. Yeah, but the old ride was kind of an experience. Maybe it's just me but I l liked the whole futuristic sea base under the sea illusion, It felt interesting, imaginative, it was something I felt Disney would make. Now it's an aquarium with cartoon characters. Not the worst thing in the world, but I feel it's lost a bit of the touch it used to have. The pre-show movie was one of the better ones in my opinion at EPCOT, as well. I guess we just have different opinions.

The Pre-Show movie brought you in on the sense of adventure and then you rode down on the Hydrolators and road out to the base and it looked REAL! You felt as if you really WERE underneath the sea in a futuristic base! It, like old Horizons represented what EPCOT was about! The Nemo show... This is just GARBAGE. Pure and simple. It makes me feel sorry for this generation. -_-

I remember when it was bursting with fish of all kinds. And divers too! Now, it's so empty. I guess management barely cares about the fish either. :p All in all, EPCOT is a hollow shell of what it used to be. [siiiiigh] At least the anime stuff at the Tokyo Pavilion makes for good shopping.

(just visited today) and the rides up there wenrt too thrilling but they are some of the first major rides i ever been on... and i couldnt of loved test track and mission space even more.. the rides here are not kiddish at all... I always loved taking the MGM Backlot Tour. But uhh the best part was Pleasure Island! Too bad they got rid of it that was the best!

The people mover is in the Magic Kingdom. Its on a track that goes all around tomorrow land taking you above some rides and also gives you a brief history of tomorrow land.

Oh but we did get to ride Soarin! It wasn't as grand as the long line suggested it would be but it still gave me that "Holy shit I'm floating in the air" feeling XD

The submarine ride has nothing on this... they may just be video screens, but at least you actually see some fish, lol. Also there are real fish at the end, and not a bunch of fake plants and corals, lol. Disney World has the right idea, perhaps Disneyland should take some tips from it :)

Wrong,It opened 1986 as the Living Seas,one of Epcot's awesome edutainment palvillions.But along Eisner and his policy of 'If it doesn't sell,get rid of it'And so they changed i into the Seas with Nemo and Friends in 2005.Other rides at Epcot that were lost during this policy was:

World of Motion(Test Track)

Horizons(Mission Space)

Journy into Imagination(Journey into your Imangination)

Most of Universe of Energy

and Wonders of Life just vanished
