It's certainly possible to change one's opinion on this topic (I did myself). But Romney has two problems. First, the change coincided with him seeking the nomination for President (demographics are different between Massachusetts and Republicans nationwide). Second, he's never explained his reasoning behind the change of opinion.
Yet another flip flop. Here's Mitt Romney on illegal immigration back in 2006...
"With these 11 million people, let's have them registered, know who they are....those that are here paying taxes and not taking government benefits should begin a process towards application for citizenship."
Romney is a puppet candidate who will say anything for the vote. Vote for integrity and consistency. Vote for liberty and the constitution. Vote Ron Paul! :)
Funny, during the famous Mickelson show meltdown...he stated that the local priests of the Mormon churches were all pro-choice. He also went on to say that it didn't bother him if they were pro-choice..that it was there decision even if it was against the Mormon faith. Sounds like a guy who doesn't care which way the wind blows him. He is very unbelievable.
It's funny how everybody wants to be like Reagan but criticize Romney for going pro-life. Reagan was a pro-choice governor who ran a pro-life campaign for president. I guess Romney has the on that one. And who cares anyways? He changed for the better so good for him.
Mitt Romney got excused for the Viet Nam war. Like one might be excused from P.E. or maybe a trip to the zoo in grade school. He had the Mormon church step in to save is little wimpy ass from serving his country. Now he is supposed to lead men and women into battle? I don't care if Mr. Romney is Mormon, Baptists, or some other religion. What I am see everday with him is he is not a man of principal or doesn't have a solid unyeilding belief in anything not even the Mormon Church.
Mitt skips military service and wants his grandkids to call him IKE instead of Grandpa, what an insult, yellow belly Mitt wants to have his grandkids call him the name of a great WWII general, who planned and lead the army in battles-- Mitt wanted his wife to be called Mami instead of Grandmother-- these people are so sick they cannot even see what is wrong with it.
he has personaly never been pro-abortion. but he was on the left when it came to governments control over peoples choices. this is just deceitfull propoganda. Vote Mitt 08!!!
Deceitful propoganda? It was him caught in a flip flop. "Let me make this very clear, im pro choice"--then, "Let me make this very clear, im pro life."
because that isnt a flip flop. that is a flip. do you disagree? he has never turned left he has always turned right. Are you for a person changeing his mind when he's wrong?
Duuuurrrr... Mitt changed his mind on abortion. Is there something wrong with that? What if he had been pro-life and then became pro-choice? Would this be as much of an issue?
