  • Operator, get me Transtempore! {to coin a term: "across time"}

  • I saw this video so many times. I thought Sheena looked so pretty in it. She still does. :)

  • Take notes Lady Gaga, this is how you sing a song about a telephone.

  • Sheena hit #9 in Billboard, 10-29-83. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx!

  • This is a great Sheena Easton song, and the video is just awesome and hilarious at the same time. Glad to see a chick like her falling for guys like Classic Frankenstein and Dracula.

  • Vampires 101 - How to kill an 80's Vampire:

Act like your angry at them, sing loud to confuse them, then push them off a tall ledge!

  • pure 80's pop! LOVE IT!!! miss it bad!!

  • I had this 45! On the front it said "Telefon (Long Distance Love Affair)".

Sheena Easton was an interesting blend of A/C and New Wave...

  • Cool Video; glad that this concept even happened! yeah!

  • This is awesome seems like an Adams Family them song XD.

  • OMG I remember singing this like I was a rock star when I was little. Nostalgia is amazing.

  • not a bad song, better than lady gaga!

  • how do you see someone in a telephone

  • @napkins007

    Videophone, what?!

  • shes one goodlooking woman damm

  • Great tribute to the Universal horror movies of the '30s.

  • The system is probably supposed to find the short but I don't trust it.

  • Shes not bad, but shes slightly off pitch on this song. Maybe its the recording. I hope no one is offended. Patsy Cline is better.

  • I stole my Mom's 1983 Top Hits cd when I was 16 and fell in love with this song <3

  • I thought at one time on youtube there was an improved sound quality version of this tune?

  • @sneezyize Or should I say: video. The sound on this video is not well.

  • hahahahaha...everytime i hear this song I laugh cause my dad was telling me a story and he mentioned once that this was my mom's favorite song...he also said that mom will go in the front of their class and perform this...lmao...

  • kinda funny cellphones internet and other modern technology they don't put as much heart into music anymore!

  • I saw this video on a DVD that my mom played on a saturday a couple of weeks ago and the video was funny lol.

  • Classic. Def one of the best looking women of the 80s.

  • @MrNigelPreston Along with Laura Branigan, the 2 most beautiful women of the 80s

  • @luisdeleyendas Hey what about Annie Lennox & Tina Turner?

  • what was boris karloff's 1931 character doing there in sheena easton's music video

  • @MANOYPI This would be a great commercial for AT&T "I can find a signal anywhere".

"I touch your name on my iphone, but I get no song."

  • GRATOS RECUERDOS, garcias.

  • hey thnx 4 posting this man!! i am young so i don't know much about her i just looked her up b/c she's in a cool song by Prince called "u got the look" & i thought she looked & sounded cool. then ur video came out, saw some others and wow!! she's great!i just knew she was great b/c Prince sang w/ her. he's smart then huh?

  • @debbiecakezify It is nice to hear young people appreciate music from the 80's. I have been a fan of Sheena's since 1981. She did a couple of duets with Prince and sang a couple of Prince's songs. Check out "101" and "Sugar Walls" which were written by Prince. Just a little warning on "Sugar Walls" though, that song was ban back in 1984 because of the lyrics. ; )

  • @hoopsgyrl hey i heard sugar walls and yeah, lyrics r sick man!! i like it! Prince is such a genius!

  • Oh my Gosh! I always remember this song. Loved to watch the dance contest in Eat Bulaga, I was 9 years old by that time. This is a big hit on the 80's. and everybody loves to dance, that includes me.. Now I'm 35, I still know the dance steps from beginning to the end of the songs, I wish to share it to my future baby..

  • super bat at 1:27 ftw

  • Loved this video and of course Sheena Easton.

  • I remember this song now Good Song

  • Is there an HD or HQ version of this video?

  • This song goes very uncredited. My mom used to play it all the time. I was like 8.

  • Sheena Easton and Telephone; put her on MTV with this one. Long distance relationships take on a Frankenstein monster theme.

  • why is she with king kong?????

  • @Katiekat1316 Cus' he's got a big one. tee hee Plus he treats her better, I guess.

  • sounds like gloria laura branigan

  • haha this song was playing i asked a girl to dance and she SHOT me down,7th grade dance ah the memories

  • She kinda has the Sarah Michelle Gellar thing going on, huge gorgeous eyes and small perfect lips...Sheena is absolute perfection, even in todays age

  • I remember this video omg i was 13 years old and I had my first real boyfriend who i thought i was so in love with at the time lol

  • great video!

  • I loved this video. She has never sounded or looked better.

  • calling Gloriaaaaaaa!!!!

  • So much better and catchier than googoo's version!

  • @doetim Uh, it's a completely different song.

  • @doetim I know the way I phrased it sounds like I was saying that Gaga's is a cover version of this song but I know it's not. However this is still a better song with the same title, that's what I was trying to say. Thanks for clarifying that.

  • Puts Lady Ga-Ga's "Telephone" to shame. Imagine today's kids having to listen to that crap! Played this for my kid's friends, and they were blown away. They never know this song existed.

  • fantastic 80's song...remember listening to this on kiss 108 in boston

  • I remember when this was in the Top 10 on American Bandstand!!

  • she's one of my favorite singers and this may be her best. LUV her voice. i sure do miss songs like this.

  • This song reminds me of someone whom I loved so much during the '80.

    My Bad Karma today.

  • It was Hal Lynden or Linden that wa on Barney Miller. The show was Blacke's Magic. It aired aout the same time as Whitney Hustone released her version in Bodygaurd.

I thought hers was the best,

  • I wish someone would post Sheena singin Dolly Parton's I will Always love you. She did it guest on a TV series starring Hal Lindsy, I don't remmeber the nme of the series. I think he was amugician.

  • Classic - And I cant' forget "Morning Train" either.

  • i remember three great songs from her; that's why i don't mind her 5 episode stint on "Miami Vice"

  • I remember when this video came out - it was released around Halloween 1984. I still consider it one of the cutest videos ever made.

  • brings back memories, good times ;-)

  • Love love love this song!

    Love her voice!

  • totally 80s. i love it. she released a spanish version of this song. thanks for the video. cool. 5 STARS

  • Dracula got bitch slapped LOL

  • @tehkao i know lmao

  • The part of Sheena Easton that I want to most lick and bite is not her neck if you know what I mean. If you ever saw Young Frankenstein with Gene Wilder, then you know Frankenstein has some thing big to give Sheena. Normally, I do not mind sloppy seconds, but I will say that I do not want to have to try to follow up after King Kong in Sheena. All dirty thoughts aside, and Sheena Easton provokes many, this video is funny and it rules.

  • The song rules, video sucks, doesnt even match the song, but I am like IN LOVE with this song, I listen to it when my boyfriend doesnt call me back haha

  • Oh dear...I remember buying this album....ON CASSETTE!! DOH!!

  • me too..show up our age...i was in high school

  • Old fart haha. I was only in Junior High. Sorry had to reply to this. Peace out...

  • @powerliftingrules Your the old fart I was in 6th grade.....lol

  • @gfa527 I like Sheena Easton. She's cool xD

  • @gfa527 BEST KEPT SECRET!

  • @gfa527 I bought the 12" dance single to this (still have it) on vinyl.

  • @gfa527 Classic

  • How old is this video??? lt is very well done even though it may be from the 70's or 80's, it has very good special effects.

  • It was from late 1983.

  • Ok thanks!

  • HAHAHAHAHA LOL

  • This does bring back good memories, but what a dumb premise for a video. It doesn't even match the song lyrics. I guess they just had access to the Universal Studios lot, and decided to throw in everything but the kitchen sink.

  • I totally forgot about this song and Sheena Easton, what great fond memories of youth!

  • Ah...videos back in the 80's just aren't the same as they are now. Back then they were creative!

  • 80's I'm not 4get,,telephone,,now cp ,,,,,yah

  • dude what the fuck are you talking about??? don't comment and don't watch this if you don't like it. I voted down your stupid ass comment. FOr me this brings back alot of memories

  • MizKizIz, suck a quart of std juice

  • classic.......totally awesome

  • i hate that youtube disables embed

  • I think it's the user who does that when he uploads the video.

  • wow your lack of intelligence is completely described in 17 words. Grow up.

  • well yeah I guess i could but you'd still be an idiot. your ability use this kind of language to make your point only makes you look that much less smart. Again, grow up.

  • actually your probably like to do that since you brought that up

  • wow this is so nice

  • Early videos were hit or miss. In general, some very good songs were paired with very bad videos ("Shadows of the Night" for example). "Almost Over You" shows Sheena pusing a "Space Invaders" machine out of a window. Great song, but the video......who knows. Maybe the director had one too many Tanquery and Tonic, and said "Hey, wear that Frankenstein costume and wander round the set."

  • I heard it was released around Halloween so they went with the "Universal Monsters" theme....

  • Sheena Easton has one of the most amazing and angelic voices I have ever heard. I love you Easton!

  • did the guy who wrote this song write wired for sound by cliff richard

  • I remember this song from the sixth grade. The girl I used to walk to school with listened to this song every morning as she was getting ready....ah, the memories!

  • i love this song

my mom has a record player and last night we played this song and a bunch of others

  • wow, im in love with this song hahaha

  • This by far is my favorite Sheena song!!! And the Dracula character is toooo funny

  • My favorite Sheena Easton song!!

  • Cool song she sang. The vid is definitely fitting for Halloween.

  • awesome song thx alot

  • Great Sheena E. classic & a wonderful video to boot. It does kinda sound a little like, "Gloria" (Laura Branigan R.I.P.) hit, but, it's the 80's, & that was a big sound at the time. Peace Gary in PA USA

  • Is she trying to call Gloria?

  • 80's songs r so cool

  • The beginning of the music video as we know it today.

  • this is so 80's!!! That's the exact sound of that decade.

  • I guess I'll have to try trans-alantic tomorrow!!!!!!! No connection in the states!!! This ...well ....SUCKS!!!!!

  • soooooo 80's!

  • this song sounds like "Gloria" by Laura Branigan. at least the chorus does.

  • this is another "the song" of the 80's!!

  • lol! I love Sheena Easton! I played this album till it warped! Great vid, both for fans of Sheena AND of classic Universal horror!

  • joooo love this

  • wow, this reminds me of playing after school when i was 8

  • her voice is amazing .....

vids in the 80s were really original

  • I read that she had a degree from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music... her clarity, she just floats so many of her higher notes... must be a pretty bright girl.

  • love you until the last day of my life woman, I can not forget I want to stay forever in you

    love you forever

  • One of the Best 80s! Thanks for the upload.

*speaking French* This is the person that loves Sheena. So do I! She is my beautiful red dog of the past century! *cuddles audio and music*

  • 80's at its very best. What a song! Where has creativity gone? By the way, Sheena Easton and Olivia Newrton-John had the most gorgeous faces of the entire decade. Well, Belinda Carlisle and Susanna Hoffs (Bangles) were real pretty too.

  • haha love this sing..

    i dont know why

    but everytime

    i hear this song

    i always gets a

    smile..cute kc ng message eh

    even if its not in

    i still love this song..:)

  • que linda cancion, domingos de matinée en maranhao

  • lalalalalalurrrveeee the 80s

  • beside ONJ..the most beautiful singer in the early 80`s

  • The good old days!

This was back before Ms Eason decided to trash up her image with Prince and the other idiots.

  • I wise, there is someone to make the better clip for this great song!

'80 is the best year with the best ever made, everlasting indeed.

but their clip sometime so awful and weird, ....so who will replace those clips?

  • this song is better with TIMBIRICHE the most famous 80`'s group of Latinoamerica

  • i think i heard my auntie listening to this LOL

  • this song made me dance

my brother saw me dancing this song

    and he knocked me out

    he told me

not to listen to songs like this

    cause this sucks

    but for me

    it does not suck...

  • Tell your brother to leave you alone. You can dance to ANY song you like to listen to. TELEFONE is a good one to dance to. I remember when this song first came out in 1983. I still love it even 26 years later. Of course, I am a big Sheena Easton fan and I like all the songs she ever recorded. Keep on dancing to Telefone, magicianmunar =D.

  • can you believe that an 11 year old child love 80's???i do,because i love 80's songs and "telephone" is 0ne of my favorites!!!
