This is a great Sheena Easton song, and the video is just awesome and hilarious at the same time. Glad to see a chick like her falling for guys like Classic Frankenstein and Dracula.
hahahahaha...everytime i hear this song I laugh cause my dad was telling me a story and he mentioned once that this was my mom's favorite song...he also said that mom will go in the front of their class and perform this...lmao...
hey thnx 4 posting this man!! i am young so i don't know much about her i just looked her up b/c she's in a cool song by Prince called "u got the look" & i thought she looked & sounded cool. then ur video came out, saw some others and wow!! she's great!i just knew she was great b/c Prince sang w/ her. he's smart then huh?
@debbiecakezify It is nice to hear young people appreciate music from the 80's. I have been a fan of Sheena's since 1981. She did a couple of duets with Prince and sang a couple of Prince's songs. Check out "101" and "Sugar Walls" which were written by Prince. Just a little warning on "Sugar Walls" though, that song was ban back in 1984 because of the lyrics. ; )
Oh my Gosh! I always remember this song. Loved to watch the dance contest in Eat Bulaga, I was 9 years old by that time. This is a big hit on the 80's. and everybody loves to dance, that includes me.. Now I'm 35, I still know the dance steps from beginning to the end of the songs, I wish to share it to my future baby..
@doetim I know the way I phrased it sounds like I was saying that Gaga's is a cover version of this song but I know it's not. However this is still a better song with the same title, that's what I was trying to say. Thanks for clarifying that.
Puts Lady Ga-Ga's "Telephone" to shame. Imagine today's kids having to listen to that crap! Played this for my kid's friends, and they were blown away. They never know this song existed.
It was Hal Lynden or Linden that wa on Barney Miller. The show was Blacke's Magic. It aired aout the same time as Whitney Hustone released her version in Bodygaurd.
I wish someone would post Sheena singin Dolly Parton's I will Always love you. She did it guest on a TV series starring Hal Lindsy, I don't remmeber the nme of the series. I think he was amugician.
The part of Sheena Easton that I want to most lick and bite is not her neck if you know what I mean. If you ever saw Young Frankenstein with Gene Wilder, then you know Frankenstein has some thing big to give Sheena. Normally, I do not mind sloppy seconds, but I will say that I do not want to have to try to follow up after King Kong in Sheena. All dirty thoughts aside, and Sheena Easton provokes many, this video is funny and it rules.
The song rules, video sucks, doesnt even match the song, but I am like IN LOVE with this song, I listen to it when my boyfriend doesnt call me back haha
This does bring back good memories, but what a dumb premise for a video. It doesn't even match the song lyrics. I guess they just had access to the Universal Studios lot, and decided to throw in everything but the kitchen sink.
dude what the fuck are you talking about??? don't comment and don't watch this if you don't like it. I voted down your stupid ass comment. FOr me this brings back alot of memories
well yeah I guess i could but you'd still be an idiot. your ability use this kind of language to make your point only makes you look that much less smart. Again, grow up.
Early videos were hit or miss. In general, some very good songs were paired with very bad videos ("Shadows of the Night" for example). "Almost Over You" shows Sheena pusing a "Space Invaders" machine out of a window. Great song, but the video......who knows. Maybe the director had one too many Tanquery and Tonic, and said "Hey, wear that Frankenstein costume and wander round the set."
I remember this song from the sixth grade. The girl I used to walk to school with listened to this song every morning as she was getting ready....ah, the memories!
Great Sheena E. classic & a wonderful video to boot. It does kinda sound a little like, "Gloria" (Laura Branigan R.I.P.) hit, but, it's the 80's, & that was a big sound at the time. Peace Gary in PA USA
