  • nice video

  • Nice mixed freight catch! Loved all the Deere equipment!!

  • awsome john deer tractors :D

  • Is that Dash-8 ex Conrail? The reason I ask is because I saw a Dash-8 in original blue about 8 days prior to when this vid was shot on 36 A. #8309.

  • A meet is when one train is in the siding and meets the other so it can depart after the other one passes. This is just 2 trains passing each other on 2 mains. Great video though, still love it!!

  • great video

  • duh

  • awesome video, fave :)

u can see the end of the train at 1:36 or 1:37...

  • I tell you, this train has one of the most amazing sounding air horns out there...

  • LOL did you run out of film? It stops before the train ends.

  • Awesome video. 5/5 and favorited.

  • damn that 21M is long as hell

  • Wow, very nice horn on 21M.

  • was this at short road?

  • haha sure looks it!!

  • Nice videotape of both NS trains meeting.I counted it leat 42 John Deere tractors on the train going east

  • 21 miles long?!

  • no 21M is the train #

  • Nice video with a perfectly timed meet. I doubt 21M is that long nowadays.....

  • Oh it still is....some days the train is over 10,000ft long...

  • Intermodal was doing 70...freight was doin 55 -60.

  • That's the fastest those John Deere's will ever move!

  • There was it least 35 John Deere Waterloo made tractors on that NS train.

  • NOW THAT IS RAILROADING!

  • AWESOME CLIP! I have goosebumps! Two examples of great POWER!

  • Are there many Pennsy position light signals still around on this line?

  • Awsome meet!

  • looks like 60+

  • Great video!

  • looks to me like 60 mph!

  • Another fine vid from Eric! Too bad the memory went dead. But it's still a great vid!

  • I want 1 of those John Deer's lol, nice man

  • I have never seen 36A move that fast before haha, used to seeing it grind up the west slope.

  • Where was this on the pittsburg sub?

  • Yes, at Losh's Run, PA.

  • Amazing horn on the 1st...wish they allsounded like that!

  • Nice meet! Im starting to like this line more and more

  • Good job, I like a lot of your videos. What kind of camera do you use?

  • This was shot with a Canon Powershot SD630. I also own a Canon Powershot SX100 IS, which some of my videos from this year are taken with, for example, my video with the NS loco on fire.

  • wow, those are 'photo' cameras and not 'video'. But you still get a very good quality.

  • I tend not to use the SX100 IS for videos, unless I am going for a very high quality shot or if it is after sundown. The SD630 is good for learning how to take pictures, after that stage I find it rather pointless. The SD630 gets a good battery life, and for how small it is it takes good quality videos.

  • Is this near Duncannon? Sure looks like it.

  • Nice video, I'll bet those two trains kicked up a breeze by the time they both cleared!
