How do you hover a plane

@ddman011 It is very similar to balancing a broom stick on your finger tip. :) The problem is that there aren't much air flow through the control surfaces (aile, elev, rudder), so they need to be larger than that of a normal airplane. Also, the engine thrust has be to at least 1.5x greater than the weight of the airplane to sustain the hover.

I just watched one of Justin's flights when he was 3. At first, I thought someone was off camera with another controller - nope. Justin, you're amazing! Keep up the good work. You already fly MUCH better than I do and I'm an old guy. Incredible.

@juroxzg3 He does not like it. He is crazy and obsessed with it. He thirsts from wanting to talk the RC stuff but he can't get them from his friends at school. After all, they are all kids. He craves fun-flies simply because he is immersed in RC stuff and surrounded by RC pilots he can communicate with. He is bored with simple stuff like trains and slot cars and gave up on those long before he turned 4.

The thing that amazes me is how maturely this kid uses throttle management and he also flies like someone with about 20 years experience. Any other kid his age would be throttle jockeying all over the sky and ripping the airframe to shreds. Just Prodigious to say the least.

It is a landing with no power or engine dead. :)

If you are high or have speed you will make a safe landing but if you are low and slow, safety depends on the current position in relation to the runway.
