Go use Megasquirt on a 1.8l, and a REAL standalone on a 1.6l, and it can. I made 226whp at 10psi on a Greddy Turbo 1.6l Miata w/ AEM EMS. Noone running a MS has made that at anything under 12psi.

if your talking about a standard skyline GTR then most likely since RB26's only produced 276hp at the crank, so 350whp is alot over the skyline + its lighter, but if your talking about the nissan GTR then i doubt it since the Nissan GTR has like 480 crank hp + a whole buncha tech jap stuff to make it go faster. and same arguement can be made if you spent that much money u spent making the 1.6 make 350whp the rb26 could prob make 500whp. remember there's no replacement for displacement.

I was talking about the 2009 or newer GTR. I think with a power to weight ratio being ~6.2 with a 350whp miata, it could take out a ~9.22 power to weight 09 GTR. I should be easy right? However taking the setting away would be great for the owner so he would not be temped to using it and void the powertrain warrenty. If you google the missing launch control feature of the 2010 gtr you'll see for youself. You dont even have to click on the websites.
