  • good job, very well done but im gonna be a douche here and say.. with that song u just butchered it :( sorry

  • good job

  • congrats from greece :)))

  • this had showed me that no matter what genre you play onto this song,it's always beautiful

  • Nice spin on a classic tune. Great job.

  • and ppl think skid row were gay !

  • I love the original version so much more; it's much more powerful and emotionally stirring. But, I think your version is very well done; it sounds like a Hawaiian version, to me.

  • U've did me cry. This version is simply AWESOME! OMFG!

u gave the song the respect that deserve!

This song is one of the most beautiful from rock.

    Can u try with 18 & life? *-*

    Congratulations man!

  • cool...

  • version rara pero esta que te cagas! 10/10

  • That was really cool, and also very creative.

  • loved it !

  • loved it!

  • i love this! can you put it on your website so i can download it?

  • @laurenmacdonald03 I look and see if I have an MP3 of this one.

  • that was awesome. i love how you made an already great song and made it your own.

  • this is actually pretty cool. i didnt know quentin tarantino's brother sang. or that he had a brother. for that matter im just talking out my ass. i dont know much. but i know what i like. this is different. would have made it on 90's college radio. good version in it's own right

  • It's wonderful! :O

  • great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great

  • stll love skid row ....remember them

  • Very cool! Well done. As for the negative commenters.... let's hear their version!

  • disagree. i think the only think lacking is the energy of the original. kris roe's version definitely carries the same kind of feeling as the original, but this one definitely has more soul than the ataris' version.

  • disagree with seisdiamantes. i think the only think lacking is the energy of the original. kris roe's version definitely carries the same kind of feeling as the original, but this one definitely has more soul than the ataris' version.

  • I have heard covering this song by lot many people... But I should say, this is the best.

  • Nice harmony. I appreciate this take on the song, but I do think some of the emotion that was removed might be better to have remained. The song is sad, and you've made it happy. I feel it would have been better to remain sad. That being said, this is cute and I enjoyed listening!

  • you guys totally destroyed my favorite skid row cover version, because you are waaaay better ;)

  • estragaram a música

  • awesome!! i remember you guys!!

  • This is awesome guys. I still like the original better, but this is a cool way to play it. It's really putting emphasis on the melody, and the guitar has an almost reggae beat to it. Very creative. I'll probably do my own cover of this song at some point. Skid Row forever.

  • greatest cover ever!!

  • Loved it. U rock man. keep doin' it.

  • perfect. as cool as original.

  • Comment removed

  • Dont listen to these bozo's that are hatin on your version.

This is REALLY good! If they cant appreciate a good cover then they can EFF OFF!! Im a country singer/songwriter and I do a country version of this.

    GREAT JOB GUYS!!!

  • with all due respect, it's painful how u killed the song and deprived it from all its soul. sincerely, painful. the ataris' is a decent cover on the contrary.

  • My intent was to removed all the bombast, overemoting and guitar noise, in order to try and show the beauty of the melody and words. To each his own.

  • @thesilverfish Although I like your version of the song, I have to disagree with your comment. If you do a cover, you have to maintain the soul of the song and the respect to the artists. Saying it was "overemotional" with "guitar noise" and the true beauty of it wouldn't come out is just wrong. Skid Row wrote this song, and nobody could it ever do more honest and TRUE than them.

  • @seisdiamantes With all due respect...just as thesilverfish said, to each his own. And besides, if every song were to be performed exactly as it used to, there would be no fun in that...

I love this version of the song!! Keep rocking, man!!

  • @seisdiamantes

disagree. i think the only think lacking is the energy of the original. kris roe's version definitely carries the same kind of feeling as the original, but this one definitely has more soul than the ataris' version.

  • @seisdiamantes i agree with you but thats music and music means life and life means change an change can be a good thiing and i think they did a great job!!

  • amazing...!!! nice version, nice voice, amazing guitar, great sound quality...!!!! fabulous!!

check out my piano version... ;)

loved yours!!! =) really great job! =)

  • nice cover!i love it: )

  • this made me cry. no offence, like really no offence, you did a good job and all but this nearly killed one of my fav songs. *-*

  • Nice toned-down mellow version. This is the version I'd like to hear when I'm sitting down on an Island drinking my Pina Colada and watching the waves.

  • nice!!!

  • Very nice.

  • geat cover

  • nice!

    It looks like jack johnson

  • great cover ;]]

  • incredible!!!!!I love it!

  • Thanks.

  • ace !!!!!!! are too perfect Congratulations!! skid rock's!

  • Thanks.

  • Search "Fireball Band" the guy there nailed this song so easily

  • This is absolutely a great song and you guys did an awesome arrangement. Take a bow my friends. Brilliant.

  • Thanks.

  • sounds like greaful dead lol

  • That there kicks ass...great arangement. Now my wife might actually tolerate a Skids song!

  • Ha...cool.

  • WOW U TOTALLY CHANGED THE GENRE....lol...nice one though

  • I Remember You by Skid Row has been my favourite song since the 90's, and I think this version is awesome. Way to go!

For everyone arguing about which version is better, I think each version is great in its own right - that's the point of having different versions.

  • Right on. Genres are easily changed. People should be able to appreciate music in multiple genres.

  • Comment removed

  • i like it man good for u

  • I love it! Good job silverfish!

  • wow really loved it ..better than skids,,to me anyway you really reshaped it and made it your own ..great job

  • LOOOL . ok, its good cover but saying better than skids is incredibly nonsense. lol.. i think you never listen skidrow and came here and comment...

  • yea i have listened to skis row and you know what i have a opinion..a educated opinion whats nonesense is a idiot dimissing someone viewpoint..the idiot would be you..in case you needed someone to exsplain it to you

  • are both guys...the same guy? and even though i am a HUGE skid row fan and i LOVE this song...i actually like this version..its great

  • Yes the same me.

  • I'm digging it!!

  • I was thinking you guys looked so professional you would do a good cover. You didn't even play the guitar like in the original! It isn't that hard a riff to play, comeon fellas!

  • The point was to play the song different.

  • you guys :P i think its teh same person ;l

  • this is great! nice job!!!!

  • Nice! Pretty nice!

  • really awesome (:

  • Awesome man! great version!

  • This is one of my all time favorite songs. I can't believe it, but this is really, really cool. Great job!

  • great beat!!!!! nice landings with the vocalz!!

  • Amazing cover!

  • Awesome job

  • COOL!!

  • I'm impressed. I'm a Skid Row fan and never thought it would work in this style. But it does. great job :)

  • This is your best one.

  • really nice job!

  • it's nice, but i dont think i like this "reggae" style for skid row musics ;) good job anyway

  • this sounds like how jason mraz would play it.. lol. gd job anyway

  • haha dude, i just wanted to type that :P

the beginning sounds so much like Jason Mraz....

  • Awesome cover, and a very very cool island take on this classic ballad. 5 stars, and thanks for sharing.

  • amazing cover!

  • AWESOME!!! What tuning are you using?? I tried a capo on the 5th but still doesn't sound right.

  • The way I saw it Breal was normal tuning and capo on the 4th fret. Sounded normal when I did that anyways. Hope it helps out!

  • I'm not Swedish but.....SCHVEEEET!

  • Really good! :)

  • is that the same person?

  • Yes. I taped the second part the next day.

  • wow, speicial...

    wonderful cover

  • good job awesome...

  • This is good. When a band covers a tune, they should add something new to it or leave it alone. You did not try and duplicate Seb and Skid Row, rather you tweeked it just enough to claim it like Van Halen did to the Kinks an Roy Orbison. Good job.

  • I really enjoyed hearing your "island style" version of this classic. Awesome True Talent!

  • Great spin on a classic well done guys!!!!

  • :o i love you

  • Nice arrangement!

  • shit I never knew someone could do 'I remeber you' so good but bach.. awesome!!

  • Tabs please! by far the best cover of this song... one of the best covers I've ever heard on youtube! very original and its not overdone most people are fools and try to out do sebastian bach on vocals (IDIOTS!) Love the calm little solo. very different take on the song

  • Capo around 5th?

Verse G and C repeating with a D at the end.

    Chorus G, D, Em, C

    Break D, C

  • very cool cover and great pickin

  • ain..

    essa musica é linda demais!

  • thats really really unique and beautiful. great job. =]

  • i'm in bar

  • One word, three syllables: Amazing.

  • That is awesome!! I love how you filmed yourself during both parts. Its perfect. I love the original, and yours is beautiful too. keep it up.

  • awesome works w the secundary voices and guitars , you worked out on this song a lot, its a nice version, congrats

  • GOOD LOCK!!!

  • I am a huge Skid fan, and this was awesome. I love it when someone changes it and does a song completely different. Nice work!

A cover should not be a copy. You made it yours. Nice. I'm new to playing the guitar, but this is a version I'd definately like to learn.

  • its original needs re-release in todays world even with a new take on it it would sell millions- just needs somebody to do that- i dont think this version would sell that many(no offense) it is good but not best seller in my opinion

i think that a re-release would sell millions- take it out the past bring it to modern power ballad and u got best seller

  • REGGAE ??????

  • awesome!!!!

  • this was rather enjoyable. i absolutely love the original version because of the sheer power of the ballad, however it is indeed quite nice to see a different take on it. well done! your version is powerful too, just in a different way. xx

  • Well I like the original but this is so good, its nice to be different sometimes.

  • what the hell have you done!!! play jack johnson if you want play this kind of music!

  • I love the polarizing effect this cover has on the listener. Really forces them into an either or decision. I get it or I don't get it. Either decision is right.

  • What you want! but the songs born with a natural power instead and this kind of effect is exactly the reverse power that make this song banal!

  • It's all perspective. I'm not you. In your head the original song is awesome and powerful, in my head make it's dated and way over the top. I don't connect anymore to the hair metal ballad arrangment. I'm older, I played this song in my first band the 1st week it was on the charts. The melody of this song is so good, to me the song will never get the respect it deserves cause of the power ballad sound. Your opinion is 100% as valid as mine. Peace.

  • man, this is murder. u just made a power ballad sound like a reggae island song...

  • yes true the power ballad is great but look past it

  • i cant i love the original version too much...

  • I love the polarizing effect this cover has on the listener. Really forces them into an either or decision. I get it or I don't get it. Either decision is right.

  • omg :D

  • wow very good cover u dont come across good covers of anything these days 10 stars

  • ps do u guys have cds out i love to have this song

  • Eso si ke es una cover

    yeah

    xD

  • tho ive always prefer rock/rock ballads..

this version of yours.. became an instant classic for me.. thanks & EXCELLENT JOB!!!

  • Very Very good. The arrangement and the vocals. As Paula Abdull would say, "You made it your own"

  • best cover i've heard of my favorite skid row song so far, very good, although, im a tard because i didn't realize that both of them peeps was you until half way through, very oringal cover, thanks for the uplaod

  • Funny...ya the other guy has a red shirt. I didn't get to do part II till the next day.

  • very good

  • GREAT WORK! I really love this song and the arrangement you made is outstanding :) Loving both guitars, both voices and you...you are pretty cute too! :) Kudos!

  • Dude i happen to know Sebastian Bach, and dude i think he would love this. You really know how to make a song yours. I really wish you success.

    Regards

  • Send it to him. I've seen him on the Super Group show and he seemed like a pretty musically open minded guy.

  • que cover tan asqqueroso a skid row, la banda se debe estar revolcando en la tumba con tan poca cancion que le hicieron estos dos perdedores!11

  • Hey man, fuck these haters... Great version of the song... And I've heard a few...

  • LOL @ Saprano18!!! I needed a good laugh!!

This is fabulous... I don't care what some young punk says!! Five stars, darlin'!!

  • weon seco grande SilverfISH

  • good!

  • no no no... the orginal version is far much better, i'm sorry but I've to admit it.. all in my humble opinion, of course.

  • THIS IS THE GAYEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD. i mean im not just saying that because skid row rocks and sebastian bach is impossible to sing for anybody other than him but.....i mean honestly look at urselves and like ur a bunch of old hags and u have no life and would never be famous and thats why you arent.

  • You won't understand for many years...puberty is still clouding your brain.

Urselves? Me and who are you talking about? A old hag is a woman maybe you mean old man or old fag something like that.

  • once again you take a song i thought was ok and turned it into a song i want to hear more often.

as always -- you rock ! freakin amazing talent for bringing out the fealing of a song.

  • My one man mission show a song is nothing but chords and a melody. The Genra is nothing but a style. Some are cool and some are "so yesterday". The music industry requires style first and substance comes second.

  • Bang! I couldn't agree more. It's the same thing I've been up to. I wanted to get back to basics. When I'm looking for gigs I'm often competing with people playing with backing tracks. At least when the lights go out and the toaster won't work, I can still play a song. Thank you for what you are doing mate. Keep it up. You're great!

  • Good job mate.

  • bro, you are amazing! Simply amazing!! LOVE the split screen (I got a couple myself =)

    5 stars!!

    -Joe Monto

  • I've seen your Queen and Kansas ones. There very cool.

  • great stuff man, i knew i subscribed to you for a reason keep bringing it!

  • I was born into the wrong generation to appreciate Skid Row, but this is something I can appreciate. And I more than appreciate it! Awesome, as usual.

  • Stan could you tell me a bit about your setup please? Apart from guitars and a camera, how do record your sound and how do you split the picture up like that. See, it's all your fault! My girfriend is giving me one of those looks because I want to make some videos like you do.Hardly competition though.

  • just..... great

  • May I be the first to congratulate you for doing that. I love it. Stan's Basement Magic Vol 1 perhaps? Come on Stan, make us some CD's to buy.
