Yes, you're right. It is a cast recording. I just got in the groove putting in the backing track for each. You might notice that the backing track for the slideshow is two songs joined together. It would have been good to have a live cast recording with the big chorus and the interpretation that the performers brought to the show after running it for a while.
@cleggCIF It is a shame we didn't have more time more cash to get further recordings done. Although bootlegs aren't allowed in the Playhouse, Steve - at least that's what we're always told, hehe! But I think the cast recording we ended up with was as good as we were going to get it with the time we had. I am sorry that we weren't able to include the chorus fully in the studio, but there just wasn't room in those cramped quarters!
