OK I got the speaker now.

Only thing is when I turn the volume up past 11 o clock the speaker just cuts out.

This is on both my laptop and N900 by wire.

Do you guys think they can replace a mid-to-low-range 2.1 system?

I wanna buy them to get rid of my old and dusty computer speakers (plus get rid of all the cables plus get the portability)..

Did you get a lot of distortion at medium high volume? Mine is terrible...Wondering if it's just a fluke or if they all tend to distort :/

Great speakers, they definitely outperform for their size and technical built. The only downfall I’ve noticed with my pair is once the battery dies, it takes about 10 minutes to get it to work using AC.
