it makes NO SENSE that they are acting attracted to Mcavity. They do it in the movie and a lot of other performances do it like "ooh, sexy, he's a bad bad kitty" but it makes no sense, they are supposed to be scared! He takes Deuteronomy and fights with Munkustrap, they hate him and are scared of him, they are not attracted to him! Rum Tum Tugger is the cat they are all attracted to, NOT MACAVITY!

@ThePouncival13 No, actually MANY say that Demeter AND Bombalurina once had a relationship to Macavity, so therefore, even though Demeter's terrified of him, she still has an attraction towards him. Bomba on the other hand.....She's not scared of him at all really XD

FYI the people who are commenting that the choreography isn't good because it isn't the same as the original are stupid, because it's totally illegal to just copy the original. You girls worked it out.

You can't have great choreography without copying the original. It was too repetitive, and had a lack of actual dance, it was mostly walking around and kicks.

And it is illegal to do a professional production of CATS without talking to RUG, but you can contact RUG and see what they say. As long as you follow their rules, you can copy original moves I'm quite sure.

to be honest i didnt like the choreography but it was good that you made up your own stuff cos most peeps just copy the video. but i rly liked the set and i rly liked the set. keep goin wit it though cos ur good

I think a lot of interest is being revived... in a round about fashion. Elaine Paige was in the original London production. Now Susan Boyle cites Paige as her idol, so everybody is looking her up! And what do they hear? MEMORIES....

YT's glorious rendition of a fabulous song. So I hope this creates a market for lots more of these productions.

The stage looks so small for OCPAC! The Dec 2008 production had a much different stage design, more like the original sets.

Was this a rehearsal? Where's the applause?

yes the members of the cast and crew built the set. the choreography is also all original too! this set was supposed to be the roof top of a building! thank you for the comments!

Impressive, but the character of Demeter is typically more skittish and nervous in this song. The portrayl here makes her more similar to Bombalurina, in that she almost enjoys this song, where she is really more on edge than anything. Some sources say that Demeter was raped by macavity and that Jemima is their daughter, which changes the perspective
