We need a military so it's always nice to have one standing by. 2. It works in other countries. 3. A young person benefits from a miltary experience right away and later in life. 4. Didn't want to enter the military though bcuz I was already making good $ being a mechanic. Unless the kid didn't have good parents 2 get the kid in2 some kind of interest that would propel him 2 school or a trade, then the military is just fine 4 those that either want 2 serve, or have no other avenues. Bush signed the recent G.I. bill in2 law, but never paid for it.

We need a military so it's always nice to have one standing by. 2. It works in other countries. 3. A young person benefits from a miltary experience right away and later in life. 4. Didn't want to enter the military though bcuz I was already making good $ being a mechanic. Unless the kid didn't have good parents 2 get the kid in2 some kind of interest that would propel him 2 school or a trade, then the military is just fine 4 those that either want 2 serve, or have no other avenues. Bush signed the recent G.I. bill in2 law, but never paid for it.

@brendandugan Brown was a GREAT Governor. California had the BEST system of public higher education in the country (world even). Reagan changed that, and it's gone down hill ever since. And I'm old enough not to need to rely on Puffy or Clooney; I can remember on my own.
Why are you so convinced Brown will be a bad governor? What is about Meg that makes you think she's going to be a good Gov.? You want to cut State worker jobs? teachers? fire-fighters? Police? *That's Meg's "plan"*.
