a song which was not in her usual "repertoire"...an elderly lady, beautiful and to my astonishment, giving in my opinion a wonderful renditon of this song. She was doing her "Farewell World Tour" then and I remember how moved I was when I saw her doing this live on French TV (it's live and not playback)...and I have a feeling that the audience liked it too...
@btinsley1 lol... Of course that she knows what she is doing, doesn't mean that she is "off key",... this "off key" empowers the beauty of her singing, lovely
( Refrain )
what a pity the sound and vision are out of synch - it looks as though Nana is miming badly. This is not worthy of a great artist singing a great song.
I have always loved Nana. She is one of my favorite singers of all times, but I don't think she did a good job with this song. Maybe it's time for her to call it a quit if she hasn't already.
In any case, I will continue to listen to her old angelic voice.
That is so malicious of you to say that. Its been said, if you dont have anything good to say, its best you stay quiet. She is older, but the quality of her voice still shines.

Me parle des amours mortes

this woman did sing the song incredibly. Look at those old faces, they all seemed very being inspired. I love the old man's face (:
